Behind her, the words “Gen AI will unlock enormous opportunities” appear on a large white screen. ] [[ A new era of AI. A new era of Ads Google Marketing Live (GML) always presents an opportunity to highlight the latest innovations to help businesses connect with their customers. But this year’s collection of advanced features fueled by Google AI makes clear that it’s a new era. Read on for some of the highlights. Vidhya Srinivasan, Google’s VP and general manager of Ads, details how the generative AI-powered innovations at GML strengthen connections between people and businesses, and open new frontiers across marketing, from immersive ad experiences to high-performing creative assets. Her key takeaways are shared here. [Read the full article]() - Scale creative production in line with brand standards. With generative AI in Performance Max, it’ll soon be easier to align creative assets with brand standards. Advertisers can share font and color guidelines in Performance Max, and provide image reference points to generate new asset variations. - Bring creative to life with new immersive ad experiences. Generative AI enables more engaging ad experiences, including soon-to-be-available Shopping ads with immersive visuals like virtual try-on and 3D spinning ads. We’re also introducing a feature that lets shoppers dive deeper into an ad to see product videos, summaries, and similar products provided by the advertiser. - Drive results through visual storytelling. Over 2 billion logged-in users discover new favorites through YouTube Shorts every month. To help businesses engage with these viewers, we’re launching several new features, including vertical ad formats and ad stickers, to drive action. - Create opportunities to help shoppers along their information journeys. Following our announcement last week that AI Overviews are rolling out to U.S. users, soon we’ll begin testing Search and Shopping ads in AI Overviews in the States. - Improve results with a strong foundation of measurement. By giving everyone access to Google Ads Data Manager, it’s now much simpler for businesses of all sizes to bring sources of first-party data together to use, analyze, and activate — paving the way for stronger measurement.
