When I’m on the practice green I try to avoid randomly hitting putts from one hole to the next without any purpose. Instead I like to focus on specific drills and techniques that will translate to real results when I’m out on the course. I don’t know about you, but one of the hardest parts of putting for me is overcoming the pressure that I feel when I am standing over a big putt. That’s why I like to simulate that pressure when I’m on the practice green using the “par 5” drill. Choose a hole on the practice green and set balls down at 5 feet, 10 feet, and 25 feet away. The goal is to make all three balls into the hole in 5 strokes or less. The 5 and 10 footers are both very makeable, and the 25 footer is just far enough away that it will allow you to work on your “lag” or distance control. With each stroke you will feel the pressure - build just like it does on the golf course. As your heart beat quickens and those butterflies start stirring in your stomach remember to stick to your routine and breathe evenly. If you are serious about lowering your scores practicing drills like this one instead of mindlessly rolling your ball from one hole to another is a must. To Your Game, Golf Game Tips -------------------------------- BTW - I sent this email out a couple of weeks ago and I have recevied a lot of positive feedback... here it is again in case you missed it.  FW: Helping aches and pain. If you're like me, nothing puts a smile on my face like a round of golf. However, that smile can be stripped away real quick when suffering from back discomfort or joint pain. When you were a kid your parents probably always told you... “No dessert until you finish your vegetables!!!” Turns out? Mom and Dad might have been WRONG… at least when it comes to halting pain from arthritis. Because studies show many so-called “health foods”... can CRANK UP the inflammation on those achy fingers, bum knee, or creaky back. Here’s the rub: The food you eat plays a major role in how you feel and play – and that includes your physical aches and pain. And now arthritis experts have pinpointed five “joint-killing” foods. The nutrients in these foods are proven to stoke the fires of chronic inflammation... amp up the pain… and cause your arthritis to put you on the sidelines of life. In other words: Every time you put one of these foods in your mouth... it’s like you’re smashing your joints with a hammer… over and over again. So if you’re even remotely interested in relieving… and even reversing your arthritis... you’ll want to ERASE these five foods from your grocery list TODAY. Check out this brief presentation to see what they are: [>> Avoid The 5 Worst Foods For Arthritis & Joint Pain]( To Being Pain-Free, Golf Game Tips    This email was sent to {EMAIL} by support@golfgame.tips Scottsdale, AZ 85255 [Edit Profile]( | [Manage Subscriptions]( | [Report Spam](
