Some of its more common uses are related to cleaning – disinfecting surfaces, removing stains from furniture, sanitizing beauty tools, scrubbing tile grout, and more. But did you know this solution can also be used for beauty? Here are some of the different ways you can incorporate hydrogen peroxide into your beauty routine. Teeth Whitening Hydrogen peroxide has bleaching properties, which is why it can also be used for teeth whitening and removing stains from your teeth. To do so, mix two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and one tablespoon of baking soda, thus creating a thick paste. Brush your teeth with this solution, leave it for a few minutes, and then rinse. Brightening Nails Frequent exposure to nail polish can cause yellowing or discoloration. To brighten your nails with hydrogen peroxide, make the same teeth whitening paste. Place your fingers in a bowl of the mixture for about three minutes before washing the solution off with water. Removing Earwax Hydrogen peroxide can also be used to remove earwax. This is a much safer alternative to cotton swabs, which can cause more harm than good. Most earwax removal drops consist of hydrogen peroxide as it releases oxygen into the ear. Insert a few drops into your ear and wait for it to foam. It should stay in your ear for about five minutes, after which you can clean it up with a tissue or a towel. Hair Lightening Thanks to its bleaching properties, you can also use hydrogen peroxide to brighten your hair. To do so, mix hydrogen peroxide and water, and then spray the solution on your hair. After 40 minutes, make sure to wash your hair thoroughly. The Many Benefits of Hydrogen Peroxide Hydrogen peroxide has numerous benefits, some of which can be used in your skincare and hygiene routine. You can use this solution for teeth whitening, brightening nails, removing earwax, and hair bleaching.     Advertisement [Image](     Benefits of Our Community: Nutrition Insights Stay updated with the latest information about superfoods, balanced diets, and nutritional supplements.
