Hi {NAME},                          So, by now,

Hi {NAME},                          So, by now, you’ve seen a few videos about the [Comprehensive Copywriting Academy](, you’ve seen our sales page, and, as you’ve probably noticed, there’s a lot of information! :D But here's the thing about all of those bonuses: You aren't going to need them all immediately. But you WILL need them eventually: And when you do, they're there for you. Remember, you've got lifetime access! Now, of those 22 bonuses, there are a few I wanted to be sure to call out to you:  Our “Client-Pitching Masterclass” and the “How to Use Facebook to Build Your Business” course  Here’s why these two are SO key:  These break down finding clients into INCREDIBLY easy-to-follow steps.   There’s no guesswork, there’s no floundering, and—oh, this is soooo important—there’s no getting on the phone with people until you already know they’re interested in working with you!  (Seriously – no in-person contact until you know that they’re interested. That takes a lot of pressure off, doesn’t it?)  Maybe you’re thinking, “Oo…but pitching clients? Isn’t that hard? And scary? And isn’t there an easier way??”  First, to be clear: NO. It is not hard. We’ve made it about as easy as can be. (Promise. :) )  And scary? Nope. Not unless you find sending a simple email scary. I mean, if you find the actual action of hitting “send” too hard to ever do, then I don’t know what to tell you. ;) Oh, and the way we teach you to pitch is VASTLY different from the way most people do it. (Salesy or pushy? Heck, no!) In fact, our students regularly get responses from prospective clients THANKING them for sending their pitches.  And “Isn’t there an easier way?” Actually, no.  All of the ways that look easy are actually major time and energy sucks – and are much more likely to leave you discouraged and broke.  For example, those work bidding sites like UpWork? A lot of freelancing “gurus” will tell you that you need to start there.  Do not, repeat, DO NOT start there.  Why? Because here’s how they work:  Client X has some copywriting work that he’d like done. So he posts a listing on the site. Which looks great, right? All of these jobs just waiting for you!  Except, problem number one is that for every copywriting job that gets posted, you’re competing with dozens of other writers for that job.  And how do you compete for it? You spend some of your own (unpaid) time writing up a proposal for work that you may not get.  Then, on top of that, Client X is on this site because he’s looking for moderately good copywriting at the cheapest price he can find it. He’s not looking for an expert and he’s definitely not willing to pay for expertise. He’s looking for so-so copywriting at a low rate.   So if you really want to get that work, you have to spend the time to write up a great proposal and slash your rates to undercut all of the other copywriters.  Worst-case scenario, you waste time writing proposals for work you don’t even get. (Time that could be spent prospecting for other work.) Or, best-case scenario, you get work—for much less than your standard rates. You end up working for cheap instead of working for the rates you should be commanding.  This is NOT how you should be spending your time.  Instead, YOU can be in control of the whole process. You control what clients you work with, you control your workflow, and you control your business.  And when you pitch clients (which, again, we make really easy), you’ll face much less competition (if any) and you’ll get clients who are much more willing to pay well for quality copywriting.  You’re not stuck waiting for jobs to be posted and then wasting your time or undercutting your rates. YOU are in control of how much work you get and when.  And dry spells? When you are consistent with pitching (and, of course, we give you a step-by-step system so you can be), you don’t have to worry about them.  Dry spells only happen when freelancers forget to keep looking for work.  [Image]( And this all works with whatever kind of client you want to work with. From big, multinational corporations to nonprofits to tiny, one-person companies, these tactics work for all of them. -->And, by the way, this pitching system also works for landing full-time jobs!<--  If you’re especially interested in working with solopreneurs and small businesses, you’re going to really love our “How to Use Facebook to Grow Your Business” bonus course. To be clear, social media is NOT essential to your business. But if you're open to it, it can make finding clients even easier!  Okay, so I’m getting off of my soapbox. But, suffice it to say, this is the TRUTH that you need to know about getting clients:  You’ll be successful when you’re in control of finding your own clients.  AND  It’s all so much easier than you think it is. And we can prove it. :)  Time’s running out to get into the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy (and, of course, to get access to these CCA bonuses).  Don’t miss your chance to take control of your career, your finances, and your life. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
