Hi {NAME}, Whenever people consider joining me and the rest of the students in the Academy, there are a few common questions that pop up. I know this because students have told me this, but I also know this because these same questions pop up for me whenever I consider investing in a new course or program for myself. So, let's not beat around the bush! These are real concerns, but they're also getting in the way of you getting what you want and taking your life in the direction you want to take it. Let's dig in: "I'm worried it's not right for me." This is actually so much less of any issue than you think it is. Don't believe me? [Check out this quick (just a few minutes) video]( — if you keep your mind open, I guarantee that the concepts in it will change not just your ideas about copywriting, but also lots of limitations you've put on your life. Well worth the four minutes. :) "I'm worried I won't have time." Well that makes sense—we all have busy lives, right? But the good news is that you don't need a ton of time to build your copywriting career. Very realistically, you can learn and master copywriting by spending 10 or 15 minutes a day watching the lessons or practicing. That's skipping half of a sitcom, spending a little less time online reading the news, or eating lunch at your desk as you go through a course module. Could you spend two or three hours a day studying and learning? Sure...but you'd likely burn yourself out. Ten or 15 minutes a day is perfectly fine. The key is to just be as consistent as you can. (And, here's a tip: schedule the time in advance!) I know you're busy, but I'm going to venture a guess that you can find 10 or 15 minutes most days. After all, this is a time investment in building an amazing future. "I'm worried it won't work for me." Let me ask you a question about GPS. When you get into your car and you punch in the coordinates, do you think to yourself, "I know GPS works for most people, but what if it doesn't work for me?" Of course not! You punch in where you want to go and you follow the plan the GPS gives you. The Academy is a lot like that: It works if you work it. You figure out your desired destination (what kind of copywriting career and success you want) and then you just follow our plan to get you there. And that brings us to our next concern: "I'm worried I won't use it."Here's the thing about motivation: It doesn't last. It just doesn't! And that doesn't mean that it's some kind of "sign" about what you are or aren't "meant" do to. It just means that the super-exciting, motivation-fueled part of your journey has ebbed. And that's why we've set up the Academy the way we have: it's mostly self-paced, but we do "drip" out some content to help keep you from getting overwhelmed. We've also created a whole bonus module (surprise!) to teach you how to overcome any lack of motivation or self-doubt. You're going to feel it at some point, so you also need to know how to keep going in spite of it. And don't forget about our student-only Facebook group. That's your place to reach out when you need a little extra help, support, or a gentle kick in the rear. These are students just like you who are facing the same things you are and they make the most incredible community you'll find. Make the commitment to join, make the commitment to yourself to change your life, and we'll help you stick with it. :) "I'm worried that it won't pay for itself." Now, look, I'm obviously not going to make any income guarantees. I can't guarantee income for anyone if they don't do the work. But, that said, (and as I said before), it works if you work it. We provide the tactics, plans, support, and training to build a career. But even before you make a "career" of it, we give you all the tools you need to land your first couple of clients. And those clients should more than make up for the investment you make in the Academy. The idea is that the Academy should pay for itself and then so very, very much more than that. But let's be crazy conservative for a second and just say you decide that you only want to take clients once a year, and that the Academy then only paid for itself twice over in that first year. Even that would be worth it, right? (And I don't know why you would stop there!) Again, I'm not going to make any guarantees. There are all kinds of skeevy people out there who buy courses, don't do any work, and then complain (or worse) if they don't get any results. So I can't make any promises. But I can tell you that you can earn money if you put in the effort to learn copywriting and follow our steps for finding and pitching clients. And it works even better if you participate in our coaching calls. And it works even better if you participate in the Facebook group. You can do this. Believe me. It's just up to you to take that first step.
