Well, I have some good news and some bad news for you today. Let's start with the bad news (side note - do you prefer to have someone tell you the "good news" or the "bad news" first? I've always been a "let's hear the bad part first" kinda guy... But I digress...). It makes me really sad to say this. The team has been going over the numbers every which way. And unfortunately, we will have to do a minor price increase on both [Cheechandchong.com]( and [Getchongcbd.com]( starting on March 1st. Truth be told, I resisted doing this for a long time (against the advice of the numbers people at Casa Chong who know a lot better than me). One of the things I'm actually most proud of about this business is that we've never done a price increase of any kind before on our products. We've always held the line. While the prices of eggs, milk, or bread in the grocery store doubled or tripled over the last few years, we kept our prices the exact same. Even when the price of all the raw ingredients we need to make our products like Good Vibes, Nice Dreams, or Cruise Chews increased 30-50% over the last few years, we held out. But unfortunately, I'm being told that the time has now come when we really have to do a minor price increase to make sure we stick around for years to come, man. Space Chews and Cosmic Chews are staying the same price... but basically everything else is going up by a couple of bucks on March 1st. I wanted to give you as much advanced notice as possible. Hell, if I could have told you about this back in January, I would have. But we were really holding the line as much as we could. Luckily, there's still the good news I promised. See, we had been planning to end our LOVE sale on [cheechandchong.com]( and [getchongcbd.com]( today like normal. Which means that our prices are never going to be as low as they are today. So here's what we're going to do - I'm going to keep the LOVE sale rolling right on through til March 1st (hey, at least it's a leap year... so that's an extra day of savings). I won't hammer you about it and tell you about the sale every other day (I will throw in a few reminders here and there), but the discount code will continue to work all month. That way, there will be plenty of time to stock up. Note: If you're on a fixed income and need a couple more days after the 1st in order to not miss out on the savings, I get it.
