I’m gonna keep this short and sweet: If you live in Florida, please read the email below (It’s SUPER Important). If you know anyone in Florida, please take a sec to forward this email to them, if you can. There are MILLIONS of people counting on us, and we don’t have much time. I wish I was checking in with more hi-jinks today… but unfortunately, I gotta drop some bad news on you and then ask you for a favor. (Cool, I know…) See, if you're receiving this email it probably means you live in Florida… so this bad news concerns you, big time. I’m gonna keep this short (especially for me) and just try to hit you with just the important details: Right now, the Florida House of Representatives is debating a bill called HB1613 (They come up with the best names, don’t they?) HB1613 is BAD. If you like Cruise Chews, Space Chews, or even our Full Spectrum CBD oil, then HB1613 can keep you from ever getting them again, permanently. Yeah, this is serious. And it isn’t just us… This bill specifically puts a target on the back of local small businesses in Florida that sell hemp products to folks that need ‘em. That’s right. This is about hurting mom-and-pop gas stations, small grocers, and CBD stores… the kind of real, local businesses that communities used to be built around, you know? And guess who the bill HELPS…. You guessed it, big out-of-state wall street-backed businesses called “MSO’s” or “Multi State Operators” These guys are basically bankers. And they didn’t give two sh*ts about legalizing weed when it mattered and only changed their tune when they found out there might be money in it… Now they’re calling in favors to have their local “competition” shut down… And, like always, it’s the little guy that suffers. Grandmas and grandpas no longer to buy the hemp gummies and lotions that have been helping them… unless they wanna go get gouged at a big name dispensary. The Good news is, it’s not too late to stop it. In fact, there’s ONE GUY who can shut this whole mess down RIGHT NOW and all you gotta do is ask him to do it… His name is Thad Altman and he’s a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Here comes the favor: Please do 3 quick things for me, in this order, if you’d be so kind - - Send an email to Thad.Altman@myfloridahouse.gov – Keep it short and sweet. All you gotta say is “please vote NO on HB1613” and include your name and the fact that you’re a Florida resident. - Give his office a call at 850-717-5032. Leave a message and let him know you expect him to vote NO on this ridiculous bill. Those 2 things should take maybe 2 minutes to complete, total. Nice ‘n Easy, as I say… And once that’s done, if you’d be so kind as to... - Forward this message to anyone else who might do the same, I’d be eternally grateful. Heck, damn near everyone in Florida would owe you one, and not even realize it. Please take a sec to knock out the above if you can. Millions of folks are counting on us here and it doesn’t cost us anything to do the right thing. Thanks a million for taking the time to help. It means more to me than you could know. I promise to be back soon with our regularly scheduled shenanigans… Until then, please take a second to send that email and make that call. And remember to keep on keepin’ on.
