(And it was only going to get darker for the next few years, unfortunately...)  You've got soldiers on both sides freezing in the trenches and being killed left and right... absolutely terrible conditions.  Then man, something unbelievable happened on Christmas Eve.  Soldiers on both sides starting singing Christmas carols - together!  These men, bitter enemies, were singing with each other from their trenches (how's that for the power of music??)  And on Christmas Day, they did something even crazier – they met in No Man's Land, shared gifts, showed pictures of loved ones, cut each other's hair, and some even played soccer together!  If it seems too unbelievable to be true... you're wrong! Just read some of the accounts if you don't believe me.  For me, it's such a great reminder of why this season is so important, man.  If most of the year we're bickering and fighting, Christmas is a season that has the power to bring us together.  And who knows, if they'd had some [Cruise Chews]( to share, I bet that ol' truce might have lasted a little bit longer!  Have you heard of this story before?  Know any other interesting or moving Christmas events from history? I'd love to hear from you - just hit reply and let me know.  Keep on keepin' on,  Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong     [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails? All Good Man!
