I live in an independent living facility. Each year we make SHOE BOX gifts for children in distant lands. These are not expensive by no means. This year one of the items we made were little bags or pouches for small tykes. We cut the rear pockets off outgrown jeans, decorated them and attached a pretty ribbon. Not expensive, but serves the purpose of saying “Someone loves you”. Of course there were other goodies in the shoe boxes. Merry Christmas to you and all the Super Stars. And a Prosperous New Year to all. A special greeting to Shelby Til later… Jackie O, Lockhart, TX  Turning old jeans into little treasures for kids... that's what I call creative recycling! Doesn't need to be expensive to be meaningful. Keep spreading that joy, man!  A friend, Pat Tallman of Babylon Five fame, among others, does charity work for Be A Santa run out of Penny Lane. One day before Xmas or so, they hold a party with gifts for a group of kids who wouldn't have a Merry Christmas, or even a good day without this. Since I'm physically disabled (I don't have to be PC about myself) I take $25 from my limited funds to make sure I help. With luck, this kindness helps one (or even more) kid to make a better life. Uncle Jack, Elgin, IL  Uncle Jack, you’re doing more with your $25 than most people do with a whole lot more. It’s not about the amount, it’s about the heart behind it, man. I bet those kids feel the warmth of your spirit more than anything.  Hey there Tommy. Every Christmas my husband & I buy for two children in our local school district. We’ve been doing this for seven years and every year there seems to be more children that are in need for just the simple things in live. We have a 15 year old grandson that we moved closer to him six years ago & we try our best to help out in our community whenever we can. Thank you so much for doing this again this year. There are people who would call you their holiday angel. Happy holidays to you and your amazing crew chew family. Cindi, Cabot, AR  Cindi, hats off to you and your husband! Seven years, man, that’s a whole lot of holiday cheer you’re spreading! And moving closer to your grandson – that's what I call being cool grandparents.  Uncle Tommy, Toys for Tots is a big give back for me. I shop all year round and pick up some toys but mostly clothes and gloves n hats. Sweat shirts...I try. Kids tug on my heart. In Chicago it gets very cold and no kid should be cold. MaryAnn F. Chicago, IL  Collecting toys and warm clothes all year – that’s dedication with a capital ‘D’! Kids in Chicago are gonna remember the warmth from your gifts longer than the cold winters. Keep on sharing that big heart of yours.  Remember, our Round Down For Charity event is still going strong!  Every order you make this month helps a great cause, and you get to choose which one. It’s like getting to play Santa, but you don’t have to wear the red suit (unless you want to, man).  If you want to keep the giving spirit going, visit [GetChongCBD.com]( or [Cheechandchong.com]( and stock up on your favorites at any point this month to join in on the fun.  Keep on keepin' on,  Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong     [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails?
