And man, it cracked me up (for reasons you'll see quickly if you watch it):   If you can't watch, here's what happens.  It's a video of a nanny in her car having a real "Eureka!" moment.  She talks about how she was away from home, and couldn't reach the kids she was nannying on their iPads/phones.  Then she has a great idea - "There should be one phone left at the house so you can reach anyone in the home. AND it should be attached by a cord to the wall so you never lose it"  Man, I nearly spat out my kombucha!  I mean, lady... you just described what we used to call "A PHONE"!  You know, the thing we all grew up with before these fancy pocket-sized computers took over our lives.  It's so easy for someone like me (aka, an old guy) to forget that kids these days wouldn't remember SO many of the things we used to think were cutting edge.  Crazy for me to say, but I guess to some younger kids, even the concept of a landline might feel as foreign as something like a floppy disk.  Quick aside - who here still uses a landline in their home? Shelby and I cut the cord a while ago... but I know there's got to be a bunch of you Cousins who are still hangin' on, man!  Anyway, it's also a good example of how most good old things usually have another day in the sun.  It's like fashion - one day you're out of touch, and the next day, you're vintage!  Or look at vinyl records – for most people, they were gathering dust in the attic for decades. But now they're all the rage with the hipster crowd (though I will say, they never went out of style with me, man!)  And what about drive-in movies? They were practically extinct, but now folks will drive from all over to go to em'.  What do you think?  What's something that you remember being all the rage, disappeared, and is now making a comeback?  And speaking of 'giving old things a new life' ... Cheech & I have been working on something pretty cool the last few months.  I'm talking months of work... Dozens of prototypes... Hours and hours of testing.  It's been a whirlwind.  And next week I'm gonna tell you all about it.  Frankly, I think some of the people reading this are gonna be more than a little surprised.  But I think you're ALL gonna be very excited...It's gonna be great.  That's what we call "a tease" in the business... But seriously, I think you're really gonna love it, AND you're gonna find out about it before ANYONE else. (Being family has its privileges...)  Until then, please take a sec to hit "reply" and let me know if you've got any other "golden oldies" making a comeback (other than yours truly, of course..)  And, as always,  Keep on Keepin' On.  Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong  P.S. -- Today's the big day!  Cheech & I are gonna be hanging out with a few hundred of our closest friends at Liquor Junction in just a couple hours.  Line's already snaking around the block.  Honestly, it feels like one of our shows back in the old days.  The excitement is definitely building.  Now, if you can't make it here in person, please don't fret.  The whole crew is here snapping videos and pics of the whole affair and we'll be sharing them here, on social media, and most of all in Bowlmates.  Next best thing to being here. (wasn't that a tagline for polaroid cameras? Speaking of old things being new again...)  Anyway, gotta go get ready!  I feel like a kid on Christmas... this is gonna be fun!     [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails? All Good Man!
