Anyways, before we all recover from our collective sugar rush, I need to own up to my word from the other day. If you remember, I have a bit of a personal theory about Halloween costumes. I think the kind of costume you like says a lot about you, man! And turns out, a bunch of you brave souls wrote back to share your "go-to" costume for a chance to be psychoanalyzed by your Uncle Tommy. So without further ado, here are a few that I've got a strong feeling on, man: Pink Panther Judith K. "Pink Panther", eh, Judith? Just two words, and yet so much intrigue. I'd wager you're a lady of few words with a mysterious side. You know, Cheech and I were actually "discovered" by Peter Sellers, believe it or not. True Story. Our first record had just come out over here in America, and someone slipped him a copy, and I guess he loved it. He called our manager, Lou and flew us out to Jolly old England and invited tons of press to come see us perform. It was amazing. Great guy. So damn funny. (and, obviously, impeccable taste...) Sorry for the side-track, on with the analysis... Tommy, my go to costume is pretty rare, but it gets pretty funny after people have a few too many party favors! I sewed the backs of two shirts together, glued ½ of a sneaker to the backs of my boots, I wear two masks (1on my face and 1 on the back of my head), and a Bolo hat! Then I stand in a darker part of the room or a corner and preceed to talk to the party goers. It gets more and more hilarious the more stoned people get! I've won a few contests with this costume, too! Please don't diagnose me as being two-faced! LMAO!!! Woody Woody, man, that's some next-level creativity! Sounds like you're a master of surprise with a wicked sense of humor. Since you said not to call you two-faced, I'll just say you've got a double dose of fun! Keep rockin' those parties! Now take a long, hard look at this costume Cousin Tamara sent in (one of several fantastic costumes)! Whoa, Tamara! Those giant peepers tell me you've got an appetite for the wild and unexpected. Plus - those look homemade, which tells me me you've got a big "eye" for detail, (I couldn't resist...) But, seriously, you make me wish I was still touring... I'd bring you two with me EVERYWHERE. Those look like professional grade props. What a trip! Here's a classic from Cousin Mary: Tommy - my go to is always a witch here’s a picture from last year. Ah, Mary! Rocking the classic witch look... but with that big smile, I'd wager you're the kind of witch specializes in potions of joy and laughter. I'm betting most spells you're casting are for good vibes to tricker treaters! And of course... I couldn't forget those of you who, with your impeccable taste, chose to dress up as me and my hermano, Cheech! Not only did cousin Mary send in a picture of her go-to costume, but apparently her daughter and friend also won some awards for their Cheech & Chong costume! Tommy, Hi, back a few years ago my daughter Cheech in the picture, and her BFF decided to go as you two, I think they nailed it. My husband didn’t even know that was his daughter when I showed him the picture. Underneath all that is a curly haired blonde girl. Just had to share they always come up with the best costumes and I believe they won a few contests with this one. And here's a great one from Cousin Brenda! Brenda, tell your husband thanks for reminding me it's time to trim my beard... Suddenly I realize it's gotten a little too long! And as always, it's the women who dress up as Cheech! Seriously, 99% of Cheech & Chong costumes I see, the gals go with Cheech (kind of makes sense given the crop top I guess, you certainly wouldn't want to see me in one of those...)
