You know what's been bugging me a lot lately? Inflation. First, I've always thought that "inflation" is a bit of a lie… I mean, it's true that everything is getting more expensive, but the real issue is that the average income for Americans isn't keeping up with the rising costs! The other day, a friend sent me [this article from a site called The Hustle]( about how America's favorite outings are becoming harder for the average family to afford – and this was written BEFORE the pandemic! The example they use is baseball games.... Apparently, it now costs 3-4 times more than it used to for a family of 4 to go out and enjoy the game once you factor in ticket prices, parking, snacks, and all that jazz. (And it's even worse if you want to buy a hat or a t-shirt or one of those little mini helmet ice cream bowls.. heaven forbid!) The article mentions that "family outings have increased in cost at 2-3x the rate of inflation – and that, in order to afford them, today's American families have to work up to 2x as many hours as they did 60 years ago." Man, when I think about what these young folks are dealin' with these days, it really bums me out! Back in the 50s and 60s, a blue collar worker could have a regular job and still afford a house, a car, and take the family to the movies, a baseball game, or even Disneyland. Nowadays, one day at the park and a night at their hotel can set you back over $1K! It's a real shame… I've got a lot more to say about this, but what I really wanted to share is that it's inspired me to push for another sale for ya. I know, I know… We just had the Daylight Savings Sale, and Easter is coming up. Plenty of sales already, and the folks in Marketing are always watching our bottom line. But I want to help you out whenever I can, especially now! So first off, how about we share our money-saving tips with each other? Do me a favor, would ya? Hit Reply and let me know your best tips for saving a buck here and there. It could be things like reusing plastic bags, patching up clothes, buying used clothing instead of fast fashion (which is also bad for the environment), and every dad's favorite… "turn off the damn lights when you're not in the room!" And of course, one little thing I can always do is keep giving you guys discounts and sales on your favorite CBD products that keep the good vibes flowing. So that's what we're doing… We're calling it the Inflation Buster sale, and it's a site-wide flash sale! With a flash sale, you don't need a special coupon code. Just head over to [GetChongCBD.com]( stock up, and the low price will be applied automatically – easy-peasy! We gotta do everything we can to help each other out until the world calms down and things change for the better. You dig? I got a bit carried away, but I'm really passionate about this, man! I hope we can make some change happen together, and in the meantime… Keep on keepin’ on. Peace and love, Tommy Chong     [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails? All Good Man!
