I've been sitting back this week watching Cheech run our COUSIN sale... and it sure has been a lot of fun, man. You know, we've made National Cousins Day a proper tradition at Casa Chong by this point. Not only is it a good excuse to hook you all up with a discount (you know that's my favorite), but I love reading all your responses and notes back. This year, of course, I thought it would be fun to share the love a little with Cheech. So he's been running things and letting me take a little break. And let me tell you, having some time off has been... interesting. I (briefly) tried picking up a new hobby - origami. But after folding my fifth paper airplane, I realized I might be better off sticking to rolling other things, if you know what I mean. I also tried my hand at a little more meditation than usual. Turns out, I'm really good at it. Or maybe I just fell asleep sitting up (It's hard to tell the difference sometimes at my age) But if I'm honest, I missed writing to you this last week. So I texted Cheech and asked if I could take this email and ask the last question in our sale (he graciously agreed, man... that's why we're such good partners). Before I get to that, though, I gotta share some of the great responses from Cheech's last question. He asked, "If you could make one thing from your childhood or teenage years popular again, what would it be and why?" Here are a few that really stood out to me: This is a really good question and I had to give it some thought. As subjects swirled around in my brain, the one thing that kept surfacing was sitting around the family dinner table every evening. I truly think several generations have missed this opportunity to keep connected with family members, talking about the day and future plans. Call me old fashioned but there you go. BTW, I will turn 70 this year and am still a hippy at heart! Diana S, Florida I would love to see mens bell bottoms back, cool! Dannie O, Indiana Hey Cheech! I would love to see the comeback of the see-saw, aka teeter totter. Kids are too coddled today. We need not be afraid to teach our kids the ups and downs of life! Juanita L, IL As for something from my childhood, the freedom to run around all day without supervision and be home when the lights come on, is the only thing I miss and believe most children in the USA cities are missing, and there is no going back. A Winter, California Hey Cheech, the one thing from my childhood that I would love to make popular again……is just being a kid. Being able to go outside and play with a stick and some dirt, or riding bikes with your friends and making sure your ass is home when those street lights come on. Ashley R, Maryland Well, I grew up in the 80's, so big hair and long hair for men was big time popular! I would love to see long hair become a style again for men Lori C, Wisconsin Man, reading these really takes me back. Thanks to everyone who's response I shared, and the many who we couldn't fit into this email today (Your Uncle Tommy's not prepared to make the arthritis in your scrolling hand worse, man) You know, all this reminiscing about childhood got me thinking about the unexpected things we learn in life as we get older. Like the other day, I was struggling with a stubborn pickle jar lid, and then I remembered this trick I learned years ago - just wedge a spoon in between the seal to help get some air in and loosen it. Or, try running it under warm water - and voila! It usually opens right up. It's funny how these random bits of knowledge can end up being so useful, right? And that's exactly what I want to ask you about. So, here's my question for you (and the final one in our COUSIN sale: What's the most unexpected or unusual thing you've ever learned that turned out to be incredibly useful? Maybe it's a weird life hack, a surprising fact that came in handy, or some odd skill you picked up that saved the day. Whatever it is, hit reply to this email and let me know. And while you're at it, if you haven't already stocked up this week (judging by what the team down at HQ is saying... it's probably only a few of you), you still have time to grab your 30% discount. Just cruise on over to [Cheechandchong.com]( or [Getchongcbd.com]( and use code COUSIN at checkout to save on all your favorites. Keep on keepin' on, Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong P.S. Thanks for all the love you sent to mi hermano Cheech this week. He did a great job, but between you and me, I think he's relieved to hand the email duties back to your Uncle Tommy... But if you liked hearing from him, maybe let him know when you respond back, man.   [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails? All Good Man!
