A few weeks back, we had a video blow up on Instagram and Youtube (maybe you saw it?) If not, you can [check it out right here](. Pretty wild, right? Your Uncle Tommy, handing a High & Dry to a cop in broad daylight. If you'd told me back in the '70s that I'd be doing this someday, I'd have asked what you were smoking... and then asked if you had any extra. Now, in case you saw the clip but didn't know what was going on, let me fill you in on the backstory. We were out in an LA park, filming some videos for High & Dry. The idea was simple: I'd sneak up on people and when they're not looking, swap their water for a can of [High & Dry](. We'd hired a bunch of local LA extras to hang out in the park, and I was having a grand old time surprising them. At one point, I was [even playing soccer]( (if you can call stealing the ball and juggling a little bit "playing." But hey, not too bad for 86, right? Must be the High & Dry man.) So there we were, having a blast, when someone spots a cop nearby. Now, you'd think that'd be our cue to pack up and scram, right? But nope. Someone in the crew says, "Tommy, go give him a High & Dry!" I'll be honest, for a split second, I had a flashback to my 2003 arrest. But then I thought, "What the heck, I'm 86. Are they really going to take me in, man?" So, I moseyed on over to Officer Friendly, channeling my special brand of "diplomacy." I gave him my best sales pitch about why hemp is legal and why he should try a High & Dry. And you know what? He took it! Then I handed it over, and scurried off faster than Cheech when he hears the words "random drug test." Little did I know, someone caught the whole thing on camera. Next thing you know, it's blowing up online faster than my appetite after a good smoke session. Over 100,000 likes, man. The comments had me rolling, too. One person said, "Wait...when Tommy Chong tells you something has 'a lil bit of cannabis in it?' Uhhh...yeah." Another wise soul commented, "Lol. That cop was cool. If Tommy offers, always accept." But here's what really blows my mind Marilyn. Can you believe we're living in a time where I could get away with handing a THC-infused beverage to a cop on camera? It's wild how many people who used to clutch their pearls at the mention of weed are now casually chatting about THC beverages like they're discussing the weather. "Oh, yes, I do enjoy a High & Dry on a warm afternoon. Pairs well with my anxiety and my mother-in-law's visits." I think it's great, man. This is the kind of progress I've been hoping to see for decades. It's not just about getting high (though let's be real, that's a pretty sweet bonus) - it's about breaking down stigmas, opening up conversations, and showing that cannabis can be a normal, enjoyable part of life for all kinds of people. Even cops, man. Who knows? Maybe next time I'll hand one to a senator. (Note to self: Check if Cheech knows any senators.) And hey, if you want to catch more of these wild moments, make sure you're following me and Cheech over on [Instagram]( [TikTok]( and [YouTube](. Fair warning though: Watching us try to figure out TikTok is its own kind of entertainment. Keep on keepin' on, Peace and love, [Tommy Signature] Tommy Chong P.S. Oh, and just to be clear - we're not encouraging anyone to go around handing High & Drys to cops. Let's leave that to the professionals, man.   [Facebook]( [Instagram]( Don't Want These Emails?
