It's as if they are infatuated with controlling the decisions women can or can not make with their bodies, when we've already crossed this bridge and settled the dilemma years ago! But no, they want to GO BACK and put women's lives in danger by overturning Roe vs. Wade last year, overturn the FDA's approval of effective medication like mifepristone that was approved over 20 years ago and overturn 15-week pregnancy limits on abortions by lowering the timeframe to 6 weeks in states like Florida. [Enough is enough!]( How can you make America greater by being regressive, limiting access to medication, taking away rights and not creating better health care options for America's citizens? That's not just, it's causing more controversy and it's painfully restricting the lives of Americans. After an extremist federal judge in Texas recently issued a horrific ruling restricting the lives of many Americans by banning the use of FDA approved mifepristone in all 50 states, Gerry and 239 of his Democratic colleagues in Congress signed an amicus curiae brief urging the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to block the district court's ruling. Well, only part of the ruling was blocked, and that's still unacceptable! We can't accept our society to go backwards and restrict the rights of women - the childbearers and caretakers of civilization.
