Millions of voters will be disenfranchised as a result of the lingering distrust brought on by the Big Lie. {NAME}, More than two years after the insurrection, the Big Lie continues to have a resounding impact on election distrust and voting rights. 🚨 In North Carolina, the new GOP-controlled Supreme Court reversed its decision to prohibit egregious partisan gerrymandering, further disenfranchising Black and Brown voters. 🚨 In Ohio, Republicans enacted strict voter ID requirements, reduced the early voting period, and reduced the voting by mail window. 🚨 In Texas, the State Senate recently passed a bill allowing the secretary of state to overturn elections in Harris County, a Democratic county and the third biggest in the nation. [FIGHT BACK]( Disinformation is at the root of this. Millions of voters will be disenfranchised as a result of the lingering distrust brought on by the Big Lie. It’s imperative we fight back. At the George Washington Initiative, we’re working to disrupt dis- and misinformation to prevent another January 6th and defend democracy. [Will you support our efforts with a $10 contribution?
