[About Us]( [Browse Courses]( [Get Matched]( To our GA community, It’s anything but an ordinary week in our world or at General Assembly. In the U.S., we’ve seen systemic racism and injustice unequivocally exposed, all at this moment when we are facing a pandemic. All of us are experiencing this in our own ways, and need space to process, reflect, and support. As such, this Friday June 5th we’re holding a mental health day for staff in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. This means that all workshops and events originally scheduled for this day will be postponed for registrants in these time zones, so that everyone in the GA community can take this time to create space, decompress, and reflect. If you have registered for a workshop or event, we’ll be in touch soon with an update on rescheduled timing. We encourage you to take care of yourself in whatever way makes sense to you—whether that’s taking time for yourself, learning about how you can get involved, or showing up for communities of color in other ways. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
