NOT asking for money! Our race has national attention. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Dear {NAME}, The last several weeks have been both traumatic, and a cause for hope. In the wake of the guilty verdicts in the Derek Chauvin trial, we are relieved that justice was served. But we also know that justice has evaded too many families and communities for generations. To make long-term and long-lasting change, we need to change the people who make policies. We need more communities to have a voice at the table. That’s what the mission of Gem City Rise is all about. We all pray that this ray of hope is a sign of more progress to come. But we will not rely on hope alone. We will work hard everyday to lift up the voices of those who are fighting for justice everyday. Thank you for your solidarity and support, Desiree Gem City Rise PAC was formed after the 2020 elections to help lift up the voices of young, female, African-American candidates in battleground areas across the country. We are determined to keep rooting out Trumpism by promoting diverse candidates and viewpoints where they have been most ignored. Will you support Gem City Rise PAC and make a contribution today?
