Colorado's ski industry faced a warning: either step aside, or step up. Because of climate change, ski industries in several other states have seen a steep decline in their business — and if Colorado doesn't change, we could be next.
U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet has introduced an amendment calling for increased scrutiny of proposed federal oil and gas lease sales within 15 miles of national parks. Dinosaur National Monument is one of a dozen parks the National Parks Conservation Association listed as threatened by oil and gas development.
