Despite the good weather for this year's Fourth of July, it looks like [fireworks are off the menu]( for several Colorado towns. My [video of the day]( is probably fake, but I really hope it's not. In other news, today is National Anisette Day. Anisette is a dry liqueur with a licorice flavor that comes from the anise herb. The herb itself can be used medicinally, from upset stomachs to runny noses. The real question: can it help my allergies? The restaurant was part of the First & Main Town Center complex and had been open for nearly 18 years.
