This is the same judge, Judge Benitez, who overturned our three-decade-old assault weapons ban, comparing military-style weapons to Swiss Army knives. It's absurd. But the truth is, it once again highlights why we need a constitutional amendment to make our communities safer from gun violence in this country. Because if Congress won't act, and if right-wing fanatical judges overturn strong gun laws, then we need to amend the Constitution.
