With its rapid growth the event has reached stellar numbers with more than 2,000 attendees from 800 worldwide games companies, spanning an incredible amount of AAA studios and publishers, but also attracting an amazing number of the biggest companies in mobile and casual. The conference expects to also feature more than 100 indie developer exhibitors from all corners of the world, alongside a huge Reboot Develop Blue 2019 indie awards powered by Xsolla. At the same time already more than 200 indie developers have applied to take part in biggest yet BIG Reboot Pitching Sessions powered by Versus Evil! The honor to keynote this year's event goes to two Japanese games industry legends - Hidetaka Miyazaki, director and CEO of From Software and Fumito Ueda creator of Shadow of the Colossus/The Last Guardian. They will do a unique, once in a lifetime, joint talk, exchanging their experiences on creative process in developing new games. Japanese industry legends are joined by a magnificent lineup of other games industry legends including Amy Hennig, Warren Spector, Viktor Antonov, Patrice Désilets and many more! For the first time ever, with some big help from its industry friends at Croteam, Reboot Develop is building the first ever dedicated tech track. Almost two dozen speakers will be speaking about varieties of games industry tech trends and deep tech topics during all three days of the conference. To make its first ever dedicated tech track even more impactful, Reboot Develop Blue 2019 has partnered with The Khronos Group to deliver a variety of Vulkan focused tech speeches and a dedicated panel that will bring together some of its key members as well as developers working intensively with the technology. Among many of the special things happening during this year's groundbreaking edition of Reboot Develop Blue, we want to highlight a truly special AAA game development studios' panel that we are preparing together with our partners from XDS. It's going to focus on a rising importance of external development on big AAA video game projects.
