Look... It's no secret that faster website loading times increase conversion rates. But most people -- including myself, up until recently -- don't really realize just HOW MUCH loading times matter. As I said, that was me... up until recently. I always knew about this, but always thought something like: "Yeah, yeah, I know... I have to resize my images... implement caching... compress some files. But 1-2 seconds probably don't matter as much as most people think" Well... I was wrong. And the first time I started realizing this was when I moved my website hosting from "Namecheap" (the brand name says it all lol)... To "SiteGround". The process took some time... And this new hosting was about 4x as expensive as Namecheap... But holy smokes!!! It instantly made my website load close to 2x faster! And unsurprisingly, my conversion rates soared as a result. My main landing pages went from about 45% average conversion rate... to 52%. A 15% increase... just by changing my hosting. Not bad, considering I didn't change a single word of copy. (this also demonstrates how many other factors matter when it comes to conversion rates, IN ADDITION to copy! In fact, according to some studies, a load-time delay of just 1 second can reduce mobile conversions by 20%...And a page load speed of 3 seconds increases bounce rates by 52%! OUCH!!!!) So yeah, that was Step 1. Step 2 came when I started building the landing page for new core lead magnet, [The Rapid Lead Activator book](). I knew up-front that I wanted to make this new landing page as "Light" Yagami as possible. So the first version only included: - A headline - A subhead - An image of the book - A bright red CTA button - And 2 testimonials (from heavy hitters Brian Kurtz and Kevin Rogers) That was it. And truth be told, Version #1 of this page was converting at 55% right off the bat! (measured after about 300 signups) Not too shabby 😊 But now came the cool part: A/B testing Since I recently started generating much more traffic (mainly due to a combination of Facebook Ads + JV partnerships), I could finally do meaningful A/B tests without waiting months for a result. And after 2 key tweaks, I'm already at a 63% conversion rate (these include changes in the copy + further optimizing loading times) Aaaaaaand... Check out the speed test report I just got on this page: Preeeeeeeeeety noice 😁 Can't wait to see how I can reliably get the conversion rate above 75%. That'd be awesome! Anyway... My point with all this? Website speed matters. A LOT. Sometimes even more than the messaging itself. So you absolutely, positively, 100% NEED to make sure that your website (especially your landing page and sales page) loads as fast as possible! Otherwise, you're just "bleeding" traffic. Problem is... Building a lead, mean, web machine can be quite difficult. (especially when you use WordPress, like me) And if I were to start again... I'd probably choose something else, to be honest. Something like a simple, no-nonsense, and easy-to-use landing page builder that creates sites that load BLAZINGLY fast... Has a brain-dead-simple drag'n'drop editor... And doesn't cost an arm and a leg. There aren't many of those out there... But -- while researching this topic -- I recently stumbled on a landing page / funnel builder I've never heard about before called [Convertri...](=) And I immediately took a liking to it. Why? Because their proposition is simple: "The World’s Fastest Funnel Builder Build the best funnels you've ever built, with the easiest page builder you've ever used, and support that’s there when you need it." That's what they say on their landing page... And -- unlike many others -- they also SHOW that they have a Unique Mechanism: (which the copywriter in me definitely appreciates!) They claim to have developed an accelerated page technology which results in some of the fastest landing pages in the industry... And based on what I've seen so far, they seem to be right! They also have a best-in-class, TRULY DRAG'N'DROP editor with lots of pretty templates... And so many other cool conversion-focused features, I don't have time to list them all out here. But I definitely recommend you check them out. (especially if you need to build new landing pages or funnels) [They even have a FREE 14-day trial so you can test-drive the platform... and see if it's right for you...](=) So I encourage you to check it out. I think you'll like it. -Csaba Please add csaba@gameofconversions.com to your address book or whitelist us. Want to change how you receive my emails? Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
