Hey {NAME}, Quick reminder that Gmail and Yahoo are going to start enforcing strict new requirements

Hey {NAME}, Quick reminder that Gmail and Yahoo (the two biggest mailbox providers) are going to start enforcing strict new requirements soon. This means that if you're using email marketing in your business at all... Or if you're doing bulk email sending in any way... Then you absolutely, positively, 100% have to pay attention to this. Why? Because if you DON'T meet these new requirements, your deliverability rates will tank... And most of your emails will probably go to your subscribers' sp@m folder. Simple as that. I believe the update will roll out sometime in early February... Which means you likely have less than a week... So you gotta do something about it, while you still can! Now... A lot of people would weave in some sort of cheap-shot offer here... profiting off of this... But I'm not gonna do that. Partially because I'm probably not the best person to fix this for you... And partially because I have other things I'm building right now. However... As a reminder: Here's a no-nonsense list for you with all the new requirements: 1 - You must pass SPF and DKIM (usually, your ESP already does this for you) 2 - You must set up a DMARC policy for your sending domain 3 - The domain in the sender's "from header" must be aligned with either the SPF domain or the DKIM domain (so both have to show your verified sending domain) 4 - You must ensure that sending domains or IPs have valid forward and reverse DNS records (again, usually your ESP already handles this automatically) 5 - You must keep sp@m rates reported in [Google Postmaster Tools]( below 0.1% (!) (which is GOOD for senders that build a genuine relationship with their subscribers... and BAD for "churn & burn" senders that only want to monetize their list, nothing more) 6 - You must have a one-click unsubscribe through the email headers (again, your ESP usually takes care of this) 7 - You must NOT bulk send anymore from "gmail.com" addresses (instead, you can only bulk send from verified domain email addresses -- Good: "csaba@gameofconversions.com" / Bad: "csaba.borzasi@gmail.com") *** ** * I totally understand if this seems terrifying to you... But I'm sure there are already TONS of people on Fiverr or Upwork who can help you fix this if you're not the button-pushing type. Anyway, I just wanted to remind you again because this is genuinely important. Cheers, Csaba P.S. -- On another note... Have you seen my last email about the [upcoming 4-day Copywriting Summit?]( It's probably the most anticipated event for copywriters and marketers so far this year... happening on Feb 8-11. Speakers include copywriting superstars like: - Kevin Rogers - David Deutsch - Kim Krause-Schwalm - Brian Kurtz - Doberman Dan - Marcella Allison - David Garfinkel - Henry Bingaman - Jon Benson - and more! And even yours truly 😇 (The FULL list includes 27 high-level copywriters) And the best part? My friend and honorable copy nerd, Jack Turk -- the organizer of the event -- has given me a special link to share with you, where you can sign up for FREE... And after you sign up... You have the option to also get the eventual recordings and/or a very special "Write Killer Copy Fast" toolkit, should you choose so. So go check it out. [==> Click here to reserve your spot now]( FUN FACT: I think the design and UI of the landing page are pretty terrible... But one thing you have to know about copywriting events is that usually the uglier the design, the higher quality the event itself is! Why? Because true copywriters are usually terrible designers, that's why 😂😂😂 So don't let the page's design fool you... This event is gonna be awesome! See you there... Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
