{NAME}, Do you ever struggle with "not feeling it" some days? Like -- despite KNOWING what you should be doing to get closer to your goals -- doing nothing about it regardless? And then feeling like crap because you just wasted one more perfectly good opportunity to finally get (whatever you should be working on) done? Yeah... I've been feeling that a lot these past few weeks 😅 Now, don't get me wrong... In certain ways, I've had a GREAT past few weeks! In mid-August, we went on our first week-long holiday since Helena was born, and it was great (mostly because my parents came to help us with the baby haha)... I made some serious progress when it comes to figuring out how I want to "evolve" my business so that it better aligns with my current goals, lifestyle, and the things that are important to me (and things that are not)... And -- in terms of sales -- I even had one of my BEST months ever in August (despite barely working 40-50 hours the ENTIRE month!). So, in a way, things are going great! However... When it comes to "long-term strategic heavy lifters" like creating content and sending frequent emails to my list... ...I failed miserably. Because make no mistake, {NAME}... The ONLY reason why August was one of my best months ever is because of all the goodwill + Know, Like, and Trust I've built up with my list these past few months (or in some cases, years)... Which simply "metamorphosized" into cold hard cash when I made them a great offer. Just like reaping and sowing. Just Like Alchemy BUT... (and this is a bit but) (well... not SO big as to sing songs about liking it... 🤣) (c'mon... you know what I'm talking about 😏) Anyway... where was I? Oh yeah... BUT... The MOMENT you stop sowing... You automatically start a ticking "black hole bomb" time bomb that WILL explode right in your face when the time comes to reap what you sowed. Or in less dramatic terms: If you stop creating new content and frequently emailing your list, slowly but surely, people WILL forget about you and move on to something (or someone) else. I don't care how much value you gave them in the past... How much KLT you've built... And how many times people have bought from you... As the great Dan Kennedy says: "People have a remarkably short memory" And you know what? In a world of abundant content everywhere, this is truer than ever. You HAVE to keep creating content and regularly engage with your leads to keep yourself top-of-mind and separate yourself from others who give up. You just have to. It's how the game works... and it's totally OK. Problem is... Consistently creating content is H.A.R.D. And if I -- a well-respected and relatively well-known professional copywriter -- often have a hard time writing 3-4 emails per week... (And let's be honest, the ideal would be daily!) Then I can't even imagine how hard it often is for NON-copywriters who haven't written thousands of emails in the past! No wonder why the #1 problem most email-based business owners I talk to is that they can't seem to find the Time/Energy/Motivation/Ideas to frequently mail their list... ...DESPITE most of them knowing full well how important that is... And how much sending more emails = making more money. At this point, most people KNOW that... And yet, they still ain't doing it. I'm still not doing it! Even though I *should* be the poster child for sending daily emails. Why? Dunno, to be honest 😕 On a surface level... it's things like: === --Not having enough time due to the baby --Playing too many video games (I'm looking at you, Baldur's Gate 3!... BEGONE, you beautiful, beautiful demon!) --Prioritizing other, easier business activities === However, if you dig deeper... it's more like: === --Not being 100% clear on priorities in my business --Time management issues --Unoptimized process for writing emails === BUT... if you dig even deeper... it's probably more like: --Intentionally sabotaging my growth due to unconscious forces --Emotional "hang-ups" and "blocks" around money and/or self-esteem --Repressed feelings that "kill" motivation for certain things, often to protect the Ego === Or maybe something else... I'm not 100% sure. One thing's for sure though... The only way to reliably fix this is to solve the DEEPER issues To figure out the repressed, deeper forces that subconsciously guide my behavior to act the way I act. I've made tremendous progress in better understanding this in the past 15-20 years... But I guess it's a never-ending process 😅 Whadda ya gonna do, right? That's life. Anyway... Funny enough, I've recently gotten several (conveniently timed) wake-up calls about this: ...Subscribers telling me that they miss my emails (always a good sign!) ...Random people asking why I stopped doing breakdown videos ...And even getting an email from Daniel Throssell yesterday asking: "HI Csaba! What is your reasoning for not emailing more often? =]" And when the Universe gives you so many signs, in your face... Well... Then you ought to do something about it :) So moving forward, I'll be ramping up the frequency of my broadcast emails... And I'll be sharing more cool stuff with you. In fact... One of the first things I'll cover will be suuuuuper helpful for all the coaches, consultants, creators, and experts on my list! Keep an eye out, -Csaba P.S. -- Yeah, yeah... I know people often ask for replies to get a boost in their email deliverability scores... But I'm truly, genuinely, 100% curious to hear your reactions to my rant above. If you ever felt like me in this email... Or the email triggered something in you that you'd like to share... Or it just reminds you of a situation you've experienced yourself...
