And I wanted to quickly share a few interesting things I've noticed during this promo. Alright, let's start with... Insight #1: It's OK to reuse / re-purpose marketing materials from past campaigns. The segment size for this was about 3000 people... And all in all, I got 42 sales in total (this also includes upsells). I think that's pretty good considering the fact that I already beta-launched almost this exact offer back in November... And I reused 80% of the emails I wrote back then. (on a scale of 1-10 how much did you notice that? Hit reply and share!) Some people might consider this "lazy"... But why shouldn't you get the most out of these assets you worked hard to create? Most email marketers / copywriters I talk to routinely use this strategy... And if the copy is solid, it's actually GOOD for your subscribers to receive them again... if nothing else, because of the "reminder factor". But in my experience, most people don't remember the exact emails you sent them 3-4-5 months ago anyway. (especially when you email almost daily!) So don't be afraid to do this yourself. Insight #2: Don't be afraid to send daily emails Look, {NAME}... Some people like to claim that you shouldn't send too many emails regarding a promo because that "annoys" people. And while there certainly *could* be some people on your list who might be annoyed by this, that's fine. In fact, it's part of the game :) For example... This particular launch was 9 days long... (way longer than most of my launches) But 80% of it was made up of education-based long-form content that gave people value REGARDLESS if they bought or not. So it was mostly genuinely helpful content... With progressively increasing urgency towards the end. YES, I got 52 unsubscribes over the course of these 9 days... But I got ZERO (0) "Marked as spam" and 15 unsubs came from a single email on the last day! Can you guess which one? :D I'll give you a hint: The one that also produced the most positive responses... and the most sales! (it was the [Helena](=) email) And -- when asking non-buyers why they didn't enroll after the launch was over -- I even got multiple positive responses like this one: "Kudos to you - you are demonstrating in real-time that your system works. The short answer is timing - I'm currently knee-deep focused on implementing other strategic pieces of my business growth, and my email marketing strategy is in the queue but not yet top of the queue. What you've done here has absolutely solidified my intention that as I get the current "big rocks" sorted you've positioned yourself as the one I want to follow. PS - love the picture of Helena - she is both adorable and effective marketing!" Insight #3: You absolutely, positively, 100% MUST send A LOT of emails on the last day. IF... you want to make sales, that is. Why? Because -- despite this promo taking 9 days in total -- 55% of my sales came in on the LAST DAY. Think about it for a moment... 55% On a 9-day-long promo. The truth is, people still like to delay their decision to buy until the very last minute... And this is probably getting even WORSE with today's information overload. I sent 5 emails on the last day alone... And scooped up 55% of the sales. So don't believe the "naysayers"... If you launch something you have to send at least 3 emails on the last day (but preferably 5-6!). That is, if your goal is to make money. And finally... Insight #4: The 80/20 Rule applied to this launch almost to the T!!! When I saw this, I almost fell out of my chair lol So get this, {NAME}... -19% of people took the bump offer -18% took Upsell #1 -4% took Upsell #2 -And another 4% took Upsell #3 That's the 80/20 (and the 80/20 of the 80/20) demonstrated in real-life almost perfectly!
