Thanks to you, and thanks to many, many people like you, we hit our goals last night. This isn’t easy. No doubt about it. Folks tear you down in the media, attack you, smear your name. You have to spend a lot of time away from home, away from family. That’s all true. But I never doubt that this is worth it. Not for one minute — never. Not when you have my back.
