It's one of my favorite parts of the campaign. We've got an incredibly diverse and culturally rich state, and everywhere I go I meet people who understand the value of that. They get how important it is that no matter our background, no matter where our parents or grandparents are from, we are all Americans. And it is up to each of us to work together to improve our community and our country. It's the same lesson I learned in the Marines. Guys from every corner of the country put aside our differences to protect each other and get the day's mission done. That's a lesson we could afford to learn a little better in Washington, but it's one that I know you get.
