If we’re going to defend our democracy and defeat Trump and Kari Lake this year we have to turn out Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike in Arizona. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Friends - Check out this picture. [Republicans for Gallego]( Republicans and Independents for Gallego might surprise you, given how divided our country is right now. But if you have a minute, I hope you’ll let me explain why this program is absolutely critical to our success. Arizona is probably the most purple state in the country. For decades it was practically a given that Republicans had statewide elections here completely locked down. But over the last six years, things started changing. We worked hard. We organized. And we had some victories in Arizona in 2018, more in 2020, and more again in 2022. In each of those victories it took Republicans and Independents voting their conscience — not their party — to get us over the top. It takes a broad coalition here, and it’s because of them that Mark Kelly is in the Senate and Donald Trump is out of the White House. That is still the case in 2024, and if we’re going to defend our democracy and defeat Trump and Kari Lake this year we have to turn out Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike in Arizona. Running a campaign like that isn’t easy — or cheap. We have to go everywhere and speak to everyone. But it’s what we have to do if we’re going to have any chance, and we’ve only gotten this far thanks to an incredible team. And to be completely honest with you, I never thought I’d need to ask people who have already done so much for our campaign to do more. But today... that’s what I need to do. Our fundraising just hasn’t been as strong as we need it to be. We expected August to be one of our strongest fundraising months ever, but right now we’re tracking far behind. To help get back on track, I need you to chip in. [Rush a $5 contribution to my campaign for U.S. Senate in Arizona (or if that’s not the right amount for you, pick an amount below).
