Really tough news

We’ve set high goals this month — it’s an official FEC fundraising deadline month, and after it hits we are legally required to report our numbers. June 15th marks the halfway point to the end of the month, and we wanted to be quite a bit further along to our goals by now. As it stands, we’re less than 30% of the way there. With the way our fundraising has dropped off lately, we’re not projecting to hit our goals for the month. That’s devastating news for us, because this is an official FEC deadline month. We’re legally required to file a public report that shows every dollar we raised and every donation we received over the past three months. At a time when we need to show strength, to show that we can win in Arizona and stop Kari Lake and Donald Trump in their tracks, it’s a terrible time to come up short. These goals aren’t arbitrary, and when we miss them it presents a major opportunity for our opponents. A weak report could invite millions of dollars more in attack ads, and that could really hurt us. Bad. We have to hit these goals to win this race.
