We can’t ignore this. Trump attacked Ruben in person, on stage, in Phoenix. And he rallied the MAGA-right behind Kari Lake. Look, we’d love to act like what Trump says, does, or thinks doesn’t matter. But we’ve got to be brutally honest: He’s leading in the polls in Arizona. He’s sitting on a mountain of cash that he can use however he wants. And his favorite candidate in the entire country, Kari Lake, is running neck-and-neck with Ruben Gallego. On their own they are a disaster. Together, running the country… it would be an absolute nightmare. What this all means for us is more attack ads. More misinformation and conspiracy theories online and in the media. And an absolute tsunami of outside spending from dark money groups on the MAGA-right — all coming directly for Ruben. This race just got a lot more difficult for us, and this was already one of the closest match-ups in the country. More than anything it means that Ruben really, really needs you.
