This was a really tough decision

It’s no secret now that Kari Lake has really consolidated her control over the MAGA-right in Arizona. The Senate GOP has committed millions of dollars in support. Right-wing Senators and the Republican elite are rallying around her. Trump is throwing fundraisers for Kari at his mansion, Mar-a-Lago, while influential donors from across the country raise more at others. We know that money is all building towards something: millions of dollars in attack ads. When they come online it will be the biggest hit Ruben’s taken so far, and there are no depths they won’t go to. We also know we have to be ready. We need to prepare our own responses to fight back. We’ve got to be ready to go pound for pound and dollar for dollar to defeat her. Ruben and I talked, and we gave the green light to expand our plans — even though the money isn’t in the budget yet. Today is our April fundraising deadline, and we’ve got to raise a ton of resources to fill the gap in the budget between where we are and where we need to be to fight back.
