She called abortion the “ultimate sin” and was pushing to enforce this extreme ban during her last campaign. But at some point over the last year or so, she realized that restricting the rights that generations of women were born with is incredibly unpopular, and that this near-total ban on abortion from a law originally passed 160 years ago could hurt her chances at gaining more power and influence. So… she’s running from her past statements as fast as she possibly can. There’s a word for that: Gaslighting.
