Here’s a look at the smart-money movement I’ve been seeing lately, and what I’m looking to do about it in my trading in the week ahead. This week, I’ll be covering: - BABA – From .60 To 2.27! - MRVL – From .30 To 0.51 IN JUST HOURS! - NIO – Riding the Upcoming Earnings Catalyst. The Fed giveth and the Fed taketh away.  Never has there been a better example of this than the new post-COVID world, where Jay Ca-Pow and his loyal group of puppet string-pulling Fed governors built the greatest bubble in history leading out of the pandemic…  only to crush it at record speeds in 2022, along with the hopes of every retail trader.   Powell’s main message in his blunt comments in Jackson Hole on Friday was to eliminate any thought that the Fed will return to filling up the punch bowl next year, by reversing course and cutting interest rates.  The next big signal he might use to drill home this uber-hawkish policy message may be the Fed’s updated economic forecast, which will be released on Sept. 20 at the same time the next interest-rate decision is announced.  The risks are two sided:  - First, the U.S. economy may slow faster than the Fed thinks.  - Second, the risk is that the Fed isn’t doing enough to cool inflation.  Many economists believe the greater risk lies in the Fed not doing enough to tame inflation.  Long story short, as traders we now must figure out how the market will react in the coming days to Jay Ca-Pow’s uncharacteristically dark comments.  One thing’s for sure, I am comforted to know that I have my [Terminator Trades tools]( to guide me through it all!    Back on 8/25/22 I alerted my [LottoX Members]( to: BABA Long Contract: $105 Calls Ethan sees a lot of hot China names right now, and likes BABA to the upside. These are trading around $.60. And sure enough, the contract saw explosive price movement in LESS THAN 24 hours, with the contract jumping as much as +278%! Next there was… MRVL Long Contract: $60 Calls The MRVL earnings call is happening after the close, and Ben and Ethan think this name could move higher. These are trading around $.30. BOOM! On THE SAME DAY the contract exploded as much as 70%. Now, BOTH of these throwbacks came from Thursday’s LottoX Live session. If you aren’t a member yet, consider saving on a year of access today. Okay, that’s enough looking back… Because as much as I hope these helped you find some winning trade ideas, I want to talk about what’s cooking now in the Fat Cat Kitchen… After the California ban of gas powered cars was approved last week, I am paying close attention to NIO Sep 30 23.5 calls this week. Friday was a bloodbath in the markets, as many stocks and major indexes pulled back the largest amount since June. One such name that pulled back but not as much as others was NIO. But in the midst of that pull back, NIO had activity in both the Dark Pools: As well as in the unusual options market: As you’ll notice. The Dark Pool prints were all at the close of the day at the 50 SMA on the daily chart. NIO has earnings approaching next week but during the sell-off Friday it wasn’t as weak as much of the rest of the market. As you can see from the chart above it has a squeeze and sideways bullish consolidation on the daily chart with fairly strong support below it at the $19 level. What is more, there was about a half million dollars plus in call buying volume on Friday in the midst of the market sell off. I also find it extremely interesting that as NIO was making multi-week lows last week, The Accumulation/Distribution and On Balance Volume studies were showing shares being accumulated. [Now keep in mind it has earnings next week which could be a catalyst.Â]( NOTE: I am playing this idea with a particular strategy that will help me capitalize on the upcoming earnings momentum. This intelligence on NIO is the kind of actionable information that my [Terminator Trades](members are IMMEDIATELY alerted to every trading, along with NON-STOP streaming of SECRETIVE “Smart Money” movement. [That means you don’t have to wait for next week’s “Hustle” to get these ideas delivered to you.]( Join [Terminator Trades Today]( before the next big idea! Let’s have a great rest of the week and until next time!
