Happy Monday, Full Scope Trader! I hope you’re as excited to hear what I’m about to tell you, as I am to share it with you! Every monday, I plan to start sharing with you my very favorite “smart-money” trading ideas going into the week. These trades are based on the activity that I’m watching most closely in hidden exchanges, and in the unusual options markets. Let’s get right into it! US equity markets are trading up slightly into the open this morning as Russia and Ukraine attempt to sort out their differences. Meanwhile, the rest of the world's economy is still trying to figure out where to commit capital and it looks like Europe is not on the list with massive outflows like this. And with this price action in the broader markets, it seems like some are pricing in a reconfiguration as to where global capital is going for the foreseeable future. As you can see from the charts below, two out of the three main indexes, the Dow Jones Industrial and Nasdaq specifically, have not yet started to trade at or above their respective 200 DAY SMA’S while the S&P 500 has. And with that in mind, let’s get to the Hustle! This week, I’ll be covering: - PARA - “Unusual” Options Activity on this name - MSFT - Quantitative trade idea with my qualitative insights - FB - These short-dated options like to party! [Read this week’s Wall Street Hustle]( But first, let’s look at some recent smart-money plays that I brought to my readers attention: TSLA I asked on 3/17 ‘Can I Make 4.90 Into 15.00’ here, and then like the ‘shot caller’ I am, I asked if TSLA could rip to ‘$950 by Friday’ two days later on 3/21. Sure enough, TSLA started pumping hard to the upside and well… the results of the contract I alerted to speak for themselves… That’s right, a 4.55 option strangle, meaning both the calls and the puts on the same stock, same expiration contract, went all the way to 90.00++ in a week. I’ll clue you in to a secret, part of it has to do with the suite of Quant Tools that I use, but more on that next week! FB On 3/24 for my special ‘0-DTE’ alert service I mentioned this trade in FB: FB Long Contract: $220 Calls “Ben coming in strong here with another ‘once, twice, three times the lady’ move here in FB, so he’s looking at these here for 1.70. They had great open interest and volume before today. While they may be ‘more expensive’, Ben likes this ‘Lotto’ style pick in FB. Of note; Ben would also consider the $222.50 calls for .93 as well.” And sure enough… I’ll just leave this chart here… Okay, that’s enough looking back… Because as much as I hope these helped you find some trade ideas, I want to talk about what’s cooking now in the Fat Cat Kitchen… PARA I told my Dollar Ace members about this one just this past Thursday, as it has seen some particularly interesting price action as of late. With the stock closing strongly above the 200 Day SMA, I am compelled to look closely again at this Dollar Ace Scanner pick in the stock: PARA Apr22 45.0 Calls $0.19 (Trigger above $38) PARA has been trading in this range for several months as seen on the daily chart above, so perhaps the market conditions are building for a break above $39 and beyond?
