{NAME}, As promised, as a Frontier Newsletter subscriber, you are among the first to know about new dates for Frontier Bushcraft trips. PLUS, you can grab a great early-bird discount on our 2024 overseas expeditions if you book before 8th May 2023. Read on for more details... The Northwoods Winter Experience Following a successful Northwoods Winter trip in Canada last month, we are glad to announce we have already organised 2024 dates, which are now available for booking on our website. This trip runs from late January into early February, some of the best time to be in the winter forests of northern Ontario. The Northwoods Winter Experience is one-of-a-kind two-week trip, delivered jointly by Frontier Bushcraft and Lure of the North, the leaders in traditional winter travel. During the first week of the trip we are based in a remote base camp, where you will be learning all the skills necessary for this environment, as well as preparing for the second week. The second week consists of a wilderness journey by snowshoe, toboggan and hot tent. During this second phase, you will put what you have learned into practice, as well as layering on new skills and experience, as we go. This trip offers a comprehensive and diverse training curriculum, incorporating essential knowledge from various subject areas, all tailored for you to thrive in harsh winter landscapes. Under the guidance of myself, Dave Marrone, and Kie Marrone, you’ll acquire a diverse range of techniques tailored to the forests and waterways of the frozen north. Full details and a raft of images are available for you find out all about the trip here -> [The Northwoods Winter Experience]( What's more, if you book soon, you can take advantage of a 10% early-bird discount, using the discount code EBNORTH24 The discount will reduce the deposit required to secure your place on this trip. So, a winter camping and bushcraft trip par excellence is on your bucket list, there is no better time to grab a place on this trip. The Missinaibi River Expedition I am delighted to be returning to lead a trip on the Missinaibi river again in September 2024. This is such a great canoe journey, full of variety and surrounded by nature. You can take advantage of a 10% early-bird discount on this trip, if you book before 8th May 2023. Use the discount code EBMISS24 Again, the discount will reduce the deposit required to secure your place on this trip. The Frontier Bushcraft Missinaibi River expedition is a two-week voyage through the Canadian wilderness of northern Ontario, on a river which was one of the arterial trade routes. The journey involves canoeing a wild and remote route, covering over 200km of river with over 50 sets of runnable rapids, all through wonderful boreal wilderness. The Missinaibi River holds an important place in the history of Canada and is one of the country’s Heritage Rivers. In the days of the fur trade, the Missinaibi River was the main route between James Bay at the southern end of Hudson’s Bay and Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes. It's a special river and one that is still pristine. We'll be self-contained and wild-camping all the way. It's a great adventure! Full information is available here - [The Missinaibi River Expedition]( If you'd like to join me on either of these trips, then it would be a pleasure to have you join. Please note that places are strictly limited and early booking is advised. We won't be able to increase group sizes and we won't be adding further dates for these trips in 2024. Moreover, these are the only Canada trips I will be offering next year. Once you have read the full details of the trip(s) that interest you, if you still have questions, then please just ask. Warm regards, - Paul Paul Kirtley Chief Instructor Frontier Bushcraft www.frontierbushcraft.com P.S. For the sake of clarity, I should also state that we don't offer last minute discounts on trips; it's not fair on people who are already booked onto the trip. The only way to secure a discount on these trips is commit to them early with the early-bird discounts offered in this email. .
