We recently found a lovely [20 minute educational video]( which does a fantastic job of blending the art, craft, science and technology of the traditional birch bark canoe. There are many insightful moments in the film but our favourite line from the video is from canoe builder Marcel Labelle: "People ask me, where did you get this canoe?
