Help us celebrate Pride month and see how we fuel our flexes. ● Freeletics: Empowering you to become the greatest version of yourself. [Flex your pride]( Every body fits here One of the things we’re most proud of at Freeletics is just how strong and supportive our diverse community of Free Athletes is. Not only do you drive each other to reach and push past your fitness goals, but you also inspire each other to be your best versions, live courageously, and fully own and celebrate your achievements. In honor of Pride this year, we’re celebrating diversity in all its forms – and the importance of having a place where everyone is free to train their own way. Where every drop of sweat counts, and where all our flexes are fueled. Whatever your passion, whatever your style, whatever your identity, we’re here to support you. What’s your flex? Later this month, we’ll be sharing the stories of several LGBTQ+ Free Athletes and releasing a brand new God Workout just for Pride (stay tuned for more details!). But up first, we’re taking a look at foods that fuel those fine, flexing muscles. No grains, no gains Sure, you need a smart training program that prioritizes the right exercises to build and strengthen your muscles. But to make real gains, you also need to fuel them right. You’re probably already know you need protein to build and repair muscle, but other macronutrients like carbs and fat are just as vital. So too are iron, calcium, electrolytes, vitamin D, creatine, zinc, and good old fashioned H2O (our muscles are 76% water). And there’s more. It matters which foods you’re getting these nutrients from. For example, the omega-3 fatty acids, like those found in salmon, mackerel, and sardines, are best for building lean muscle. Need help sorting it all out? We got you. Get the full story in our blog. [Read more](   Ready to show what you’ve got?
