I’ve never talked about this before, {NAME}…  But my wife and I are in the process of hiring a personal assistant to help us manage our businesses and household.  Over the past month, we collected a long list of applicants … gave about half of them a series of short tasks to test their ability … then interviewed our top 6 candidates.  And when the dust finally settled, we found one person who was our clear first choice.  Plus our decision also reveals an important lesson for you about charging more as a freelancer, {NAME}…  See, the person we are moving forward with was by far the most expensive.  In fact, her rates are two times higher than some of the other candidates we interviewed.  But we are hoping that our assistant will become an essential support system for the two of us. And that she will remove a seemingly endless number of headaches, friction points, and distractions from our lives. Which will allow my wife and I to dedicate even more of our time to the things we do best — running our companies.  So we weren’t interested in the most affordable person…  We weren’t even interested in the person who offered the “best value” between their rates and experience…  We wanted the best.  No exceptions.  We’re not alone, either.  Most of my clients have the same values.  They want the best. And they’re willing to invest more to get it.  Which means you have two goals for your own freelance career.  First, you need to continue to build your skills so that you too can be considered the best in your field. (Or at least in the top tier for what you do.)  Then you also need to find clients like my wife and I — who are willing to pay a premium in order to get the best results.  Sure, clients like that may be rare. But they will also easily become the most lucrative source of revenue for your business.  So finding them is well worth the effort.  Until next week,  -Brian [Unsubscribe]( | [Edit your details]( Freelance Like A Pro PO Box 281 Bloomingdale New Jersey 07403 United States [Powered By Kartra] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
