I’m reaching out to you with a plea for help ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I’m reaching out to you with a plea for help ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏   Dear Fellow Patriot, I’m reaching out to you with a plea for help— Former Atlanta Police Officer James Burn faces life in prison for doing his job, and he desperately needs your help today. James’ entire prosecution has been a witch hunt. This good American cop did nothing wrong. But, the radical left prosecutor in charge of James’ case is on a mission to ruin James’ life in exchange for political capital. I’m sure you’ve heard of liberal prosecutors attacking conservatives and hard working Americans they disagree with by abusing the legal system as a tool for their Anti-American schemes. . . Well, that’s exactly what’s going on here. Let me quickly give you the facts: - On June 23, 2016, James responded to a call about a suspect breaking into a parked vehicle. - James arrived on scene and watched a person matching the suspect’s description enter a vehicle. So, James did what any police officer would do – he put on his emergency lights. - Well, the suspect immediately spooked and drove the vehicle he was breaking into directly at James’s police car. This was a life-threatening attack on James, a police officer, which is a crime in and of itself! - Fearing for his life and hoping not to be struck by the suspect’s car, James tried to stop it by discharging his weapon one time. James struck the violent suspect and killed him. Now I’ve got to say, it’s a tragedy that a life was lost, but James was just doing his job – he was protecting his community from a thief and protecting his own life from being taken by a vehicle charging towards him. But soon after the incident, the Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney charged James with murder. . . and is trying to put him away for life. . . when all James was trying to do was protect his life and his community. Now, after 8 long years of a messy legal battle and James losing everything he has, James is finally scheduled to go to trial this fall. Friend, the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund is doing everything we can to scrape together enough money to help James with his legal fees. [Will you help us defend this honest man with a $35 donation today?]( James’s case is as political as it gets. The District Attorney who charged James in 2016 ran his campaign for re-election promising to prosecute cops. James is just a pawn to this District Attorney. But he was a hero to his community! And now the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund is doing everything it can to make sure that James knows his work is appreciated . . . and that his life isn’t ruined by a sham legal case that puts him in jail. [Will you tell James “thank you” for his service on the police force with a $35 or more donation today?]( Friend, James should not even be being prosecuted. But, sadly the current District Attorney who is trying to put James behind bars is none other than . . . Fani Willis . . . Yes, that Fani Willis– the same prosecutor who brought election interference charges against President Donald Trump. It won’t shock you to learn that Fani Willis is as anti-cop and progressive as prosecutors come. After so much time, and taxpayer money, spent on this case, Fani Willis’ office refuses to dismiss the charges against James! So the only way for James to get justice is to win his case! That’s where you come in – [Friend, will you stand with James and with all wrongly prosecuted American police officers with a $35 donation to the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund today?]( Now that you know what James is up against, you see why your donation is so critical. [If you’re able and want to help James, will you consider making a larger gift of $50, $100, $500, or even $1,000 today to help keep James out of jail and with his family?]( James and his extended family have already invested well over a million dollars of their own personal money into his legal defense over the last eight years. Their resources are depleted. . . they have nothing left. LELDF is James’ only chance to receive the legal defense he deserves. And we can’t fund this case without your [generous donation](. Friend, James’ life has been ruined by this political prosecution. . . but the radical prosecutor does not care about fairness, justice, or truth. . . . . . They only care about their political agenda. It breaks my heart to see James being used as a political pawn— at the expense of his freedom. That’s why we have to do whatever it takes to make sure that he doesn’t go to jail – and that the selfish prosecutors involved in his case know not to bark up this tree again. When officers like James have nowhere else to turn, LELDF partners with generous supporters like you to defend them in court. [Will you join us today?]( LELDF supports and defends the law enforcement profession and those law enforcement officers who have devoted their lives to upholding the Constitution and serving the United States and its citizens while enforcing its laws. We also educate the public about the many risks and threats to law enforcement officers – like sham prosecutions by left wing prosecutors like Fani Willis. Friend, I hope you’ll [stand with LELDF and with James today.]( Thank you for supporting our men and women in blue. Gratefully, [Jason C. Johnson signature]( Jason C.
