The “U”is to remind people that it’s associated with Understandably.com.But the “U” also stands for “updated.” Because these books are never really finished. Instead, they’re continually revised. This Ubook™ runs almost exactly 12,000 words, which probably worksout to roughly 50 minutes of reading time. You’ll also notice that it’s formatted to make it easy to read on a smartphoneor tablet, hopefully without downloading any other apps. You’re free to share this with anyone you like, as long as: (a) you share it for free, (b) you send the entire thing, unedited, and (c) you don’t do anything like remove the author’s name, the cover, the branding, etc., or pretend that you wrote it instead of me. %2F%2Fwww.free-ebooks.net%2Fs%2FjRvoLW%2F9861852%2F2096%3Futm_source=newsletter%26utm_medium=email%26utm_campaign=4481-A/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/ic9eWZ6-EJebiDou1hWsF59Mg9Up_Kf5jAHrbztqM_4=134 [Through the Looking-Glass](%2F%2Fwww.free-ebooks.net%2Fs%2FjRvoLW%2F9861852%2F2096%3Futm_source=newsletter%26utm_medium=email%26utm_campaign=4481-A/2/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/Jg3rddTmu48t8DpfgLEBvZtBV74Tl0n3xkIUY_CEQMA=134) by Lewis Carroll [Charles Dodgson] When Through the Looking Glass was published in 1871 as a sequel to the previous masterpiece, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland readers were as delighted with that book as they were with Lewis Carroll's previous volume. In the topsy-turvy world that lies beyond the looking-glass, Alice meets such fantastical characters as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Humpty Dumpty, and the Jabberwocky Dragon. Before she knows it she is whisked into the strangest and most highly complex world of giant chess games, jumping trains, bread and butter-flies and a sinister tureen of soup. %2F%2Frs-stripe.free-ebooks.net%2Fstripe%2Fredirect%3Fcs_email=d66e3d435db5f9af09cbb55e10dcfecd%26cs_stripeid=129356%26cs_sendid=4481%26cs_offset=0%26cs_esp=sendgrid/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/WpLDn8lxNb3G4Bfu0DDcaTWafbtuKpl8XHi6mu_yFKA=134 [Learn more about Jeeng](%2F%2Frs-stripe.free-ebooks.net%2Fbranding%2F%3Futm_source=contentstripe%26utm_campaign=rs_129356%26utm_medium=email%26utm_content=logo/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/9d9CGyVWU-Pv8F9L_5PcvSIHul8TBycFZt-EJEIFK7s=134) %2F%2Frs-stripe.free-ebooks.net%2Fstripe%2Fredirect%3Fcs_email=d66e3d435db5f9af09cbb55e10dcfecd%26cs_stripeid=129357%26cs_sendid=4481%26cs_offset=0%26cs_esp=sendgrid/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/4ROOwcHM0XhoewgnaT-EUySW4BKfr-is8Pt8MSmzLtk=134 [Learn more about Jeeng](%2F%2Frs-stripe.free-ebooks.net%2Fbranding%2F%3Futm_source=contentstripe%26utm_campaign=rs_129357%26utm_medium=email%26utm_content=logo/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/frOhbYwBqWlGxFUv8GcbCww6Wq8CoWqpOpPquO10fyI=134) %2F%2Fwww.free-ebooks.net%2Fs%2FkRwpDx%2F9861852%2F2096%3Futm_source=newsletter%26utm_medium=email%26utm_campaign=4481-A/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/ySXdiJEbLyK3l6YuTx0jtQYgZpQ4fn5F-v_bfcNAYDk=134 [Through the Looking Glass](%2F%2Fwww.free-ebooks.net%2Fs%2FkRwpDx%2F9861852%2F2096%3Futm_source=newsletter%26utm_medium=email%26utm_campaign=4481-A/2/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/6Cbdkno70ANkwJbbBJusvfxGRew3HDZMGkl8alnfoqg=134) by Carroll Lewis Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871) is a work of literature by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson). It is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865). The themes and settings of Through the Looking-Glass make it a kind of mirror image of Wonderland: the first book begins outdoors, in the warm month of May (4 May),[1] uses frequent changes in size as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of playing cards; the second opens indoors on a snowy, wintry night exactly six months later, on 4 November (the day before Guy Fawkes Night), uses frequent changes in time and spatial directions as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of chess. In it, there are many mirror themes, including opposites, time running backwards, and so on. %2F%2Fwww.free-ebooks.net%2Fs%2FpYRx76%2F9861852%2F2096%3Futm_source=newsletter%26utm_medium=email%26utm_campaign=4481-A/1/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/XLmiKzKdjuSW0O5f7XwM5r3C_C_3tQC7SG6wsjk2XAQ=134 [Uptown Dogs](%2F%2Fwww.free-ebooks.net%2Fs%2FpYRx76%2F9861852%2F2096%3Futm_source=newsletter%26utm_medium=email%26utm_campaign=4481-A/2/010f018bf8bdc49c-58b292b3-e4a0-4eb8-b5c1-94c6b420812d-000000/boH-RNch4f1AfoSWUi06K78XV6rUxDE42sAzv1HyhzI=134) by Eric Ginsburg and Stephanie Urdang A glimpse into the lives of the dogs that live in Central Park in New York City. Michael Lorion It’s Monday, February 6, and the blizzard of ’78 descends upon the quiet city of Old Wachusett, Massachusetts. Achak and Kimi, two people from a different time, come back to the land their tribe once inhabited, both searching for the Totem and its unknown power. One seeks revenge for a past massacre while the other, regardless of the personal cost, is determined to save the people of Old Wachusett.
