FOX Sports' football writers predict who will play in and win this year's Super Bowl. [View in browser]( In today’s FOX Sports Insider with the FOX Sports NFL Staff: Who will win the Super Bowl this season? … Who are the award favorites heading into the 2023-24 NFL season? … and more! Every NFL team enters the season with dreams of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. And every team knows the odds are stacked against them. Simple math is the clearest way to convey that. Thirty-one of the league's 32 teams will fail in their quest. Reaching — and winning in — February tends to require immense talent, incredible coaching and pristine health. Only a few teams will check those boxes. A lot will change over the next five months. But from where we stand now, days away from the start of the 2023-24 NFL season, FOX Sports' staff of football writers delivered their predictions on who will be left holding a trophy at Allegiant Stadium on the night of February 11, 2024. FOX Sports NFL expert picks Ben Arthur: Eagles over Ravens For the rest of the story, [click here.]( [STORY IMAGE 1] [IN OTHER WORDS] - FOX Sports' staff of NFL writers made [predictions ahead of the season]( for everything from the MVP Award to Coach of the Year. Here's how they voted and why. - Pete Carroll started coaching as a grad assistant at his alma mater in 1973 and he's still at it, [missing only one season on the sideline](. Eric Williams has the story. - The Panthers-Falcons opener [features two star-studded debuts]( but the outcome could come down to which defense has made more progress, Greg Auman writes. - The Jaguars are known for their high-powered offense. But their defense is just as critical to [establish themselves as an AFC contender]( writes Ben Arthur. Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears (Sunday, FOX, 4:25 p.m. ET) Jordan Love takes over under center for the Packers as they clash with the division rival Bears in Chicago. Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants (Sunday, NBC, 8:20 p.m. ET) One of the oldest rivalries in football begins a new chapter when the Cowboys take on the Giants. [BET OF THE DAY] San Francisco 49ers at (+2.5) Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m. (on FOX and FOX Sports App): Steelers to lose by fewer than 2.5 points, or win outright From FOX Sports Betting Analyst: Geoff Schwartz My favorite wager of the NFL weekend is the Steelers to cover against the 49ers. Pittsburgh will have a much-improved offense this season with an offensive line coming into its own and, more importantly, a Year 2 jump from quarterback Kenny Pickett. Pickett had his moments last season where he popped; this preseason, he looked to remain on that track. My favorite part of this wager is the Steelers' defense against the 49ers' offense. San Francisco returns quarterback Brock Purdy from his injured elbow with an offensive line that's good but not great. T.J. Watt against whoever gets the majority of reps at right tackle is an advantage for the Steelers. It appears Christian McCaffrey will be on a pitch count this season, which should also help the Steelers. You would think San Francisco will need all options 100% against this stout Pittsburgh defense, but we will take it. I circled this game early; give me the Steelers.
