American-heavy Leeds squad had high hopes, but possible relegation complicates things. [View in browser]( [FOX SPORTS INSIDER WITH MARTIN ROGERS] In today’s FOX Sports Insider with Martin Rogers: The issues with Leeds United could end up impacting some of the U.S. soccer players … The Seahawks struggled to find the end zone offensively last season, but that could change this year with their exciting rookie class … and more! There was a nice little narrative going on for a while at Leeds United, where a bunch of Americans were helping a storied English Premier League club in its quest to rekindle past glories. Somewhere along the line, the tale got a bit murky. Now, with just two games remaining in the EPL season, it could be about to have a decidedly bitter ending. Leeds' U.S. connection began with former head coach Jesse Marsch, who was hired last February and handed the task of keeping Leeds in the top flight of English soccer. He achieved that target, dramatically staving off relegation (and all its dismal financial implications) with a thrilling victory on the final day of last season, then celebrated in part by snapping up U.S. national team stars Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson, from RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg, respectively. In January, after a solid performance at the World Cup, midfielder Weston McKennie joined them from Juventus, in a loan deal that has an option to become permanent. It was a neat little setup and while Leeds was humming along, all seemed well. Several of the English newspapers featured and spoke positively of the American link, Adams was gaining particular notice, the whole thing was serving as proof of the ongoing maturation of American soccer, and fans based on this side of the Atlantic had a new, or at least a second, team to root for. Now? It's complicated. For the rest of the story, [click here.]( [STORY IMAGE 1] [IN OTHER WORDS] - Seattle needs help getting into the end zone. Scottie Scheffler to win 2023 PGA Championship (+750) From FOX Sports Wagering Expert: Chris Fallica Scheffler and Rahm are 1A and 1B right now when it comes to the best players in the world. Scheffler posted a Top 10 at Augusta despite seemingly not making a putt all week. That's how strong his tee-to-green game is. He also shockingly missed the cut at Southern Hills last year on the heels of his Masters win, and a result like that this week would be another stunner. But I don't expect that from someone who, since the start of 2020, has a win and three top-five, top-seven and top-10 finishes from 11 majors. I’m not getting cute in terms of pre-tourney outrights. I’ve chosen my fighter, and its Scheffler. Betting him to both win and finish in the top 10 this week. For the latest betting odds, [click here](.
