Aaron Rodgers isn't a Jet yet. Four weeks since he stated his desires. So what gives? [View in browser]( [FOX SPORTS INSIDER WITH MARTIN ROGERS] In today’s FOX Sports Insider with Martin Rogers: Everyone knows Aaron Rodgers wants to be a Jet, so what gives? … With the help of a great team of coaches, Anthony Richardson has been rocketing up draft boards … and more! A lot can happen in four weeks or less. In four weeks, the entire NCAA Tournament can play out, from First Four to Final Four, and still leave spare change for the Masters. It is long enough to get in shape — or at least significantly better shape than you were before — if your significant other gives you an assist by not leaving Girl Scout cookies laying around. In the movie "28 Days Later," that precise amount of time was long enough for a killer virus to spread and cause society to break down altogether. Four weeks is sufficient time for a meet-cute, a blossoming romance, a breakup and maybe even a careless rebound, for those who like to do their love life in the fast lane. And, in Aaron Rodgers World, where time can stand still but is now moving at, ahem, Jet speed, four weeks is long enough for nothing to happen, right at the time when it felt like something was about to. Yes, it really was nigh-on a full page of your wall calendar (do people still have those?) ago when Rodgers Zoomed himself into Pat McAfee's studio and gave word of his intention to play for the New York Jets. It was an announcement, an explanation, a parting shot at the Green Bay Packers and a new chapter all wrapped into one, supposedly the beginning of a new journey for a man who likes journey of all types: spiritual, physical, emotional and even those where he can't see because it's too darn dark. Then, nothing. For the rest of the story, [click here.]( [STORY IMAGE 1] [IN OTHER WORDS] - Anthony Richardson was a breakout star of the NFL Combine and Florida's Pro Day. [BET OF THE DAY] Odds provided by [FOX Bet]( José Ramírez to win 2023 AL MVP (+1500) From FOX Sports MLB Betting Analyst: Edward Egros First, here’s a refresher concerning the new rules in baseball this season. Aside from the pitch clock, the bases are larger (from 15 inches square to 18 inches square) and defensive shifts have been banned (two infielders must be on each side of second base). These changes should benefit two types of players: left-handed hitters and speedsters. Because defenses shift against southpaws more often, there will be bigger infield gaps. Also, with bigger bases, fast baserunners are likelier to reach first base after a ground ball and likelier to successfully steal once aboard. Ramírez fits both criteria. The Guardians' third baseman pulled 175 balls into the shift last season (second-most in MLB). Some of those pulled balls should become base hits. Also, among third basemen, Ramírez ranked sixth in sprint speed (28.5 ft/sec). Expect an already capable hitter to make huge strides this season. For the latest betting odds, [click here](.
