CEO Makes Bold "Double Down" Prediction ------------------------------------------------------------

CEO Makes Bold "Double Down" Prediction -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Helping the world invest better. CEO Makes Bold "Double Down" Prediction I've stumbled upon an under-the-radar stock I believe could be one of the greatest discoveries of my 25 years as a professional investor. [Find Out Today]( Elon Gone as Tesla Chairman; Is the Sideshow Finally Over? If you're a Tesla shareholder, you're probably sick of the ride by now. This year the stock has been down 20%, up 20%, and now down again slightly... underperforming the market by about 12 percentage points. The motion sickness has not been helped one bit by the various antics of Chairman and CEO Elon Musk. The fork in the road came last week when the SEC sued Musk for "false and misleading statements" after his Aug. 7 tweet that he was thinking about taking the company private, and that his funding was "secured." The suit was settled (quite quickly!) on Saturday, with Musk agreeing to step down as chairman of the company and pay a $20 million fine. Tesla will also pay a $20 million fine, and Musk will retain his CEO title. This seems to me a positive outcome for shareholders. Musk will receive more oversight from a new (and presumably independent) chairperson, and he can continue with his vision to change the way the world drives. And on that point, there was some good news yesterday as the Tesla announced it met its Model 3 production goals for the quarter, though it's still having some trouble actually delivering all the cars it wants to at this point. Tesla's production and delivery struggles really emphasize just how tough it is to build a car company from scratch (as well as how good Detroit is after several decades of experience). Hopefully the new corporate structure will allow Musk to devote even more focus on getting these things right – bringing shareholders along for a bit smoother ride into the self-driving era. Urgent! --------------------------------------------------------------- 4 Times in 16 Years: Rare Stock Alert Released There's a practically unknown (yet publicly traded) company I think is following so closely in Amazon's footsteps that it has seriously caught the attention of David Gardner -- a legendary investor who actually did buy Amazon back in 1997 and racked up over 40,000% gains in the process.
