Emtype has been designing high-quality text fonts for many years. Catharsis Fonts is newer to the font design scene but has a great and unique collection of display faces and a new geometric sans. Sugargliderz specializes in original hand-drawn creations, but also has a few serif fonts that look great. Rounding out our newsletter, Try and Error Studio has three typefaces, including a hand-drawn script and a display sans with a vintage vibe. We hope you like these new additions to our library, because we sure do!  [Emtype] [Emtype Poster 1] [Emtype Poster 2] [Emtype Poster 1] [Emtype Poster 2] [Emtype Sample Text] Emtype has been around for over 14 years, and we’re thrilled to finally welcome them to Fontspring. Focusing on text typefaces, their fonts all have a modern flair, but are classic enough to be used in all types of situations. Especially fantastic is the Ciutadella Family, which has grown to include rounded and slab variants. [Emtype] Geogrotesque, Relato Sans, Periódico, Ciutadella, and 8 other families. Individual fonts start at $50.  [Catharsis Fonts] [Catharsis Fonts Poster 1] [Catharsis Fonts Poster 2] [Catharsis Fonts Sample Text] Meanwhile, Catharsis Fonts come with a much more varied style, including all sorts of neat display typefaces. We’re very partial to their new offering, Quinoa, a geometric sans with a humanist bent. We know you love your text type as much as we do, so we’re happy to show it off. [Catharsis Fonts] Quinoa, Blumenkind, Maestrale, and 5 other families. Individual fonts start at $15.  [sugargliderz] [sugargliderz Poster 1] [sugargliderz Poster 2] [sugargliderz Poster 1] [sugargliderz Poster 2] [sugargliderz Sample Text] It’s always great to invite a foundry to our site because people requested them specifically, and sugargliderz is a great example. A fun mix of classical sans with some fun hand-drawn fonts thrown in for good measure, they really show that Fontspring attracts foundries of all kinds. [sugargliderz] Magendfret, Atrlessness, Pinch, and 4 other families. Individual fonts start at $18.  [Try and Error Studio] [Try and Error Studio Sample Text] We don't see any “error” at all in Try and Error Studio, because all three of their fonts so far are hits. Modern scripts and hand-drawn fonts with a real eye for trends, Try and Error is another welcome addition to Fontspring and our pursuit of the coolest, hippest fonts. If you don’t want to grow your beard out and move to the woods after seeing some of these images, you might need your eyes checked! [Try and Error Studio] Bird House, Bird House Script, and Sailors. Individual fonts as low as $10. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
