[Shop ALL Best NEW Fonts]( Heading Now [Heading Now]( Heading Now by Zetafonts Heading Now is the new incarnation of Heading Pro, developing the original typeface family designed by Francesco Canovaro for Zetafonts into a superfamily with 160 variant combinations. Built around 10 different widths, ranging from ultra-compressed to ultra-wide, and eight weights from thin to heavy, Heading Now provides a full spectrum of sans serif type solutions to your design problems. Born as a space-optimizing typeface for headers and titles, Heading Now can be used in its compressed widths to manage space on the printed page and on the screen. In these widths Heading Now excels in titles and subheadings, timetables, infographics and in situations of exuberant and excessive copywriting. On the other side of the width spectrum, you can find extended width variants, ready to be used for titling where style and energy matter more than pixel or paper economy. Heading family is not only made of extreme widths: you can use the medium width range to design body text. Matching italics provide versatility in text use, as well as a dynamic display alternate to the bolder weights. Heading Now keeps the original design of Heading, but extends the width and weight range while keeping its (post) modernist attention to readability and details. Each Heading Now font includes over 1100 characters with coverage for 200+ languages using Latin, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets. A full array of open-type features is included in each weight featuring also stylistic alternates, small caps, old-style and tabular numerals and positional figures. 162 fonts for $300 $150 [Shop Heading Now]( [Let's hear from the designers...]( Let's hear from the Designers. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? I’ve always wanted to design a sans serif typeface with the ability to solve virtually any design problem. This was probably due to the influence of the 1936 typeface created by the German Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) that has become a model for a pragmatic approach to designing typefaces with exceptional levels of versatility. In Heading Now, geometric construction meets grotesque shapes in a way that makes possible a wide spectrum of widths, ranging from ultra-compressed to ultra-wide. Each width was then developed in eight weights, from thin to heavy – making for an exceptionally large typeface family. Q2) What is the one or two most important things graphic communicators should know about the typeface, or how will the family of fonts help them create better design? Heading Now can be used in its compressed widths to manage space on the printed page and screen. In these widths, it excels in titles, subheadings, timetables, infographics, as well as in situations where there is extensive text copy. On the other side, you can use the extended widths for titling situations where style and energy matter more than pixel or paper economy. The Heading family is not only made of extreme widths: you can use the medium width range to design body text, while matching italics provide versatility in text use and provide a dynamic alternate to the bolder weights. 162 fonts for $300 $150 [Shop Heading Now]( Lagom [Lagom]( Lagom by Fenotype Do you find some of the contemporary fonts just a tad too cool, restrained – even arrogant in their appearance? Here’s something to charm your worried clients with – Lagom, a polite and diplomatic type family. Use Lagom and you’ll be able to reach just that fine line between sophistication and mundane. The font family works really well with FMCG (fast moving consumergoods) products, restaurant identities and menus or way finding systems – you could even try it on a mobile app for that more human, ease-of-approach feel. Perfectly adept for contemporary needs, Lagom fonts come with smart Open Type features and the family is kept just the right sized – not too vast, not too compact. Make your designer life easier with Lagom! 16 fonts for $100 $50 [Shop Lagom Now]( [Let's hear from the designers...]( Let's hear from the Designers. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? As usual, we began designing the type family by discussing the concept first. We set out to design a wide, sturdy slab serif family. In the Clarendon-genre but fading the dusty 19th century vibe and bringing it to the present day. Cutting it with a softer hand, a tiny bit lighter. As the name Lagom (just the right amount) suggests, we aimed to bring a polite type family that balances just on that fine line between sophistication and mundane. Some of the pre-decided visible features were inward turned ball terminals in lowercase “a” and “r”, as well as upward pointing ear in “g”, rather than forward as usual. Q2) What is the one or two most important things graphic communicators should know about the typeface, or how will the family of fonts help them create better design? As Lagom positions just in between fancy and mundane, it’s an excellent choice for FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), product design or even mobile apps. It has a reminiscence of something familiar, a trace of history, with a pleasant and polite overall tone set in the present-day atmosphere. Consider Lagom as a loyal butler who knows how to take care of things with a subdued elegance. 16 fonts for $100 $50 [Shop Lagom Now]( 1913 Typewriter Carbon [1913 Typewriter Carbon]( 1913 Typewriter Carbon by GLC 1913 Typewriter Carbon is the bold version of GLC foundry's 1913 Typewriter. It is available in two styles: Normal, and Underlined (Bold). A complete alphabetic font. It may be preferable, if possible, when printing, to choose a pale color - dark grey instead of heavy black, for exemple - to give a good appearance, just like the real one, and still benefit from the full details. With inkjet printers, it may be used the economic or draft option with a good result too. 2 fonts for $45 $22.50 [Shop 1913 Typewriter Carbon Now]( [Let's hear from the designer...]( Let's hear from the Designer. Q1) Where did the idea for the typeface come from? Did you set out to address a specific use or suite of the application? Was this a design you'd had in mind for a while? This font is in a way the bold version of “1913 Typewriter”, one of my very first, this one using the italic, bold, and bold italic styles for the strikethrough, underline, and strikethrough underline versions, a real bold version seemed necessary after a while. Q2) What is the one or two most important things graphic communicators should know about the typeface, or how will the family of fonts help them create better design? As these 2 styles are supposed to be carbon copies of a typewriter font, I advise to use it with light colors, but of course it also supports strong ones. On the other hand, although its original size is 11, it holds very well to enlargements, its eroded contours being quite detailed. 2 fonts for $45 $22.50 [Shop 1913 Typewriter Carbon Now]( Shop ALL [Best of 2021]( deals now! Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
