Blue, humpback and fin whales are on the brink of EXTINCTION, and cruise companies could push them over the edge! Right now, these endangered whales are facing SUDDEN DEATH from cruise ships’ reckless practices. Nearly 100 of these majestic creatures are killed EVERY YEAR off the coast between Central America and Alaska, and cruise ships are one of the guilty culprits. Cruise ships the size of city blocks speed through whale habitats and migration routes and can strike them dead in VIOLENT COLLISIONS. What’s more, these ships generate so much underwater noise that they disturb whales’ sonar abilities. That means distressed and disoriented whales don’t even have the chance to avoid ships hurtling toward them! Meanwhile, massive cruise pollution like acidic wastewater and heavy fuel emissions is degrading our oceans and threatening the health of coastal communities. Rates of respiratory illness are SPIKING as a clear result of cruise ship and other shipping emissions. But greedy companies are IGNORING health data and putting profits over human health! Big Cruise has viable options to reduce pollution and change its business model to protect marine life, our people and our oceans. But it's going to take huge public pressure to DEMAND that greedy cruise companies change course. That’s why we’re counting on supporters like you to speak out now. But we need 6 more responses from your area by 11:59 p.m., and yours is still MISSING. Please tell us: Do you think cruise companies should be held accountable for KILLING endangered whales?
