URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Toxic pesticides threaten the existence of more than 200 ENDANGERED species! >

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Toxic pesticides threaten the existence of more than 200 ENDANGERED species! >> We know that toxic neonic pesticides can KILL BEES and harm pollinators. But did you know these pesticides are dangerous for all sorts of animals, Friend? Neonics can seep into our waterways and threaten aquatic species. In fact, the EPA has determined that neonics likely harm every single endangered amphibian species in the country. Birds are in danger, too -- some songbirds can DIE from eating even just one neonic-treated seed! Meanwhile, Target still sells food grown with these toxic pesticides. [Please, Friend, will you help protect pollinators and endangered species by telling Target to require its suppliers grow food without toxic pesticides?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Many foods that Target sells are grown with neonics , from apples and spinach to the corn and soy in packaged foods. These pesticides can be absorbed into the food itself and cannot be washed off. To make matters worse, neonics have been linked to serious health issues in people, such as birth defects of the heart and brain and hormone disruption. The science is clear, Friend: neonics are harmful to people, pollinators, and all sorts of endangered species. But while grocery stores like Target are willing to sell neonic-grown food, producers will continue to use toxic neonics. We need YOUR help to push Target to reduce toxic pesticide use among its suppliers! [Friend, will you help us reach our goal of 2,172 more signatures to Target by 11:59pm TONIGHT? Sign now and protect endangered species and pollinators!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Standing with you, Kendra Klein Deputy Director of Science Friends of the Earth Contact Us: Friends of the Earth U.S. Washington, D.C. | Berkeley, CA 1-877-843-8687 [Contact us](foe.org/about-us/contact/) Email Preferences: [Click here to unsubscribe]( Learn more: www.foe.org/news www.foe.org/about-us www.foeaction.org Connect: [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Flickr]( © 2021, Friends of the Earth.
