URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell President Biden to REJECT the Formosa Plastics mega-polluting factory in

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell President Biden to REJECT the Formosa Plastics mega-polluting factory in Cancer Alley! >> Along the Mississippi River, a stretch of more than 200+ petrochemical factories and refineries poison the local people, ecosystems, and wildlife every day. These corporate-run plants and factories have SPIKED SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES in the region high enough for it to earn the nickname Cancer Alley! Formosa Plastics wants to build yet another 2,400-acre industrial complex in Cancer Alley. This proposal is so dangerous, it’s been barred from Taiwan – where Formosa Plastics’ own headquarters are located! President Biden can revoke Formosa Plastics’ permit before it’s too late – we need at least 3,912 more activists to send a message to Biden to hit our goal! [Friend, will you take immediate action and urge President Biden to STOP Formosa Plastics from building a toxic plant in Cancer Alley?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( As if the consequences for Cancer Alley weren’t enough, this Formosa Plastics plant will also add more fuel to the fire of the global plastics crisis! Our oceans are overrun with plastic debris and it’s killing over a million sea animals each year. Microplastics leach into our air, water, and soil – invading our bodies though unexpected channels. We can’t trust Formosa Plastics to treat the people of Cancer Alley or the environment with any amount of respect. In 2016, one of its plants in Vietnam released toxic chemicals into the sea and devastated the lives of tens of thousands of Vietnamese residents. In Texas, it illegally released BILLIONS of plastic pellets into local waterways for years. [Please, Friend, tell President Biden: say NO to toxic plastics plants from greedy companies looking to make a quick buck!
